The results are immediate, not weeks. "How to Change your Mind" by Michael Pollan is a great resource to learn more about psychedelics and its use in treating mental health. I have known Dr. Martin and Tracy for years and was very excited when they opened their clinic. Both have always shown great compassion and generosity to family, friends, and the community. There are only three ketamine clinics in northern New Mexico (that I'm aware of) and two are in Santa Fe. Los Alamos is very fortunate to have one. I know it will be a great asset to Los Alamos and nearby communities. I went in for ketamine and really like that I could add a vitamin infusion. I know they are adding other services, so I suggest checking out their website which is really easy to navigate. Each ketamine treatment is a unique experience. It feels like letting go of your mind and body and going on a ride with varies shapes and colors. May sound silly or a bit scary, but I find it enjoyable. Later, I process any thoughts or feelings that came up with my personal therapist. Their office is equipped with zero gravity massage chairs! They have headphones and can help you pick a playlist for your infusion. The staff is all very professional and kind. They provide a safe and relaxing environment. I plan to continue getting ketamine. Insurance doesn't cover treatments but the benefits out way the cost. If you have struggled with your mental health as I have, I recommend trying ketamine. I know it has changed my life.
