Some excuses she says disqualify you from coverage: finding anything out of the healthy normal, or preexisting conditions; bringing a copy of results from testing at other practices, not for review by them, just to keep with your record; any discussion of family or personal medical history. What good is a doctor you can't trust to work honestly with your insurance, can't talk to, or see if you have any medical issues?

After much searching I finally ran across both in Georgia Mountain Health. Despite this, I do want a doctor that I like and at least attempts to act as if they care about my well being.. Saw a nurse practicioner, she was okay. I did not care for her nurse who seemed to have no personality. Unless it was related to something she needed to get her job done, she had nothing to say and barely had a hint of a smile, despite my attempt to make a little small talk. Called back several weeks later to ask a question, had to talk to her. Spoke with her and asked to be transferred to reception, she chose to hang up instead. Tried shortly after my initial visit to make an appointment for my husband, called 3 different times and no one would answer the phone. (all calls were in the afternoon between 2 and 4 on two different days). I even left a message indicating I wanted to make an appointment and asked for a call back. It never happened. If you want to make an appointment here and are successful, I believe they will do what they need to do to take care of you, but if even a little 'bedside' manner is important to you, keep looking. (In the healthcare buisness, the business of CAREing for people, I think you should at least attempt to act as if you CARE) Also, you might want to search elsewhere if being able to reach your doctor in an emergency is important to you. After 3 calls during afternoon hours go unansered for a simple appointment, when the answering machine indicates you are indeed calling during business hours,I'd hate to think of the response if it had actually been an emergency. I had back surgery in 2012. I had been working out 5 days a week for a year and half. I injured my back. I went in for appointment unable to move neck without pain and back pain. With a history of back problems the logical option would be to get MRI of full spine. Nope! Instead MRI neck that I had to beg for. Their answer is go to the ER. Been twice. ER is for trauma, not chronic back issues. Call after call begging for MRI of back. After 2nd visit to ER, the doctor said to called Primary have them move my MRI of back up. I ended up having to do it myself. Then, nurse called and said Dr. Polow said go back to ER. Go for MRI and it's only of my mid back. Now, 5 months later I have numbness and tingling in both legs, unable to walk, stand, lay in bed or sit in chair without pain. I don't won't pain medications, I want to know what is wrong with me. And believe me, this isn't even close to the whole story. If you have test results for a patient, don't have a MOA call with results. That is the Doctors Job Or NP.

When 1:1 supposed to be done only by a therapist bc of insurance reasons he still lets the aides do it. If you want quality care not a therapist that cares about his bonuses more than his patients I would definately go to a different pt solution clinic, such as Dalton they give individualized plans for each patient not basic plans for each patient that Chatsworth does.
