The adjustments are much more comprehensive than any other doctor I've seen. I have been seeing him for awful TMJ, neck pain/forward neck posture and back pain. I'm definitely making progress and feel relief every time I leave. He doesn't rush through in two minutes and is incredibly thorough & knowledgeable. He has educated me on not just posture but the power of breathing correctly which has helped my anxiety tremendously. There is a focus on wellness being the whole person. I'm someone who gets nervous with doctors, especially male ones and he is so kind & supportive that it puts me at immediate ease. Not that this is a deciding factor for a lot of people but the waiting area when you first walk in is beautiful and peaceful. It sets the tone. It's very easy to get ahold of the office and his wife who coordinates the phone booking is super sweet and helpful. I can tell they're obviously really busy but can find me what I need for an appointment whether before work or after. My teenage son who's a football player and lifts very heavy weights will be seeing Dr. Pinstein next week for the first time too. I won't be using insurance for my son (though do use Harvard Pilgrim for me) and the rates for out of pocket were unbelievably low and reasonable. I wouldn't let my son see just anyone and feel very confident and safe about him coming here. I can't recommend Dr. Pinstein enough! He's by far the best chiropractor on the north shore and I would say anywhere!

I tried pushing the opinions of others out of my head. as I was sharing my excitement about this new journey, I was warmed-NO. PAUL IS A FARM. he gets people in and out in and out, in and out. today i tried understanding what was happening and why he was suggesting multiple days in a row- even when working out you need to rest those muscles to let the body heal. adjust. I was mentioning this and he got defensive. arms went up and across his body giving closed off body language and he started getting labored breathing. I apologized for questioning his experience however at the same time I only get one body and I'm just trying to get information and do what's best for it. I need to communicate to better understand. this upset him. he didn't like my questiones and responded very condescending. told me "ok fine don't come tomorrow, don't get better" i was shocked at how he was handling my questions about pain. not once did I say he aligned me incorrectly but he was defensive regardless and even said I didn't do it wrong. I had to explain I never thought that, only maybe my lower back didn't need an alignment. again-he only smiled and continued to cross his arms. I felt like he just wanted my insurance money. this interaction solidified that concern. I then tried better understanding the situation at the front desk, lisa, she couldn't care less that I had new pain, caused from the alignmen. not to mention I said my left collarbone was funky. he aligned the right collarbone. when I asked about ok what about the left side where it hurts? he said, "oh. I thought you said the right-good thing this isn't surgery"
