So, rather than do that, I'll summarize some key points: The owner is courteous, seems to genuinely care, but more than that is a salesman. The pitch you get when shopping isn't quite what you see after you buy. The internal office staff is outstanding, and I give them credit for hanging in and doing what is surely a very difficult job. The quality of the actual caregivers (referring here to non-skilled nursing) can be broken down into a few categories: Those who truly care and do their very best: 20%. Those who get the job done, no more, and perhaps some less: 40%. Those who clearly prefer NOT to work, lose house keys, can't work a door lock, call out, I'm need to leave early, or who'd be better off picking the seeds out of strawberries for a living: 40%. This company exists (in my opinion) because: They're better than nothing (on a good day). In closing, too many companies mistakenly believe that they're good, simply because they're better than the worst. That's a shame, but I believe it to be true. The old adage "If you want something done right, do it yourself" really applies to this service, and most every other service out there now. If you can't do it yourself, I suggest you think long and hard (if time allows) when you choose a care provider. And, for what it's worth, if you read this far, keep looking at other agencies. Edit: Oh, and by the way, the photos this organization has posted are representative of some fantasy world in an alternate dimension.

When we ask questions an example was when my aunt went at the front desk Who was my mothers nurse they all stood around looking like I don't know not me. Finally when my aunt pressed it more, the lady standing there said oh I am her nurse. She didn't say she was her nurse. Needless to say my aunt gave her a piece of her mind. The adjoining bathroom that the people there shared was disgusting the base of the toilet when I went in for my mom to go. The actual toilet seat was corroded. I had to wipe it down. They certainly don't care about your family member so use caution if you need to use this place I do not recommend it.

I rang the nurses bell for my roommate as he was in worse shape than I and it took 40 minutes for the nurse to arrive. 40 minutes! Thank God he didn't flatline! Try to avoid this place if you can. Some of the aids were good and some bad, Some really like to watch TV and not tend to the "client". When I called the office to complain that my mom was attended to by a "sleeping" aid, I didn't receive a call back. I persisted and never received a call. When I visited my mom, and couldn't awaken the "aid", I took her to lunch and when I brought her back, the "aid" was still fast asleep. I once again called to complain and received a call back. Subsequently, after transfer to the nursing home, I quickly received a bill. I obtained the records from the assisted living facility and there were numerous gaps and uncovered days for which I was billed. Within one month of my Mom's transfer, I received a threatening letter from an attorney, telling me to pay my bill in full.........I certainly would not recommend "A Plus"!
