Quick, easy online registration where you have the option to pay in full or deposit only. 2) The address is easy to find, but they don't have a big business sign visible from the sidewalk yet (but rumor has it that it should be coming soon). So just trust the listed address and you'll find it. It's easy to reach by bus and car. 3) The owners and staff are very sweet and knowledgeable. They greeted me right away, helped me get settled in before the class, and happy to answer questions and make accommodations. 4) I forgot her name, but I liked the instructor a lot! She did a great job breaking the ice in the beginning, laying out our objectives, and her general instruction and discussions with the class. 5) Also important to note is the safety and cleanliness! Each mannequin had new mouthpieces, but each student removed his or her own seal to ensure safe practice of giving breaths. The floors were clean with no obvious trash or dirt. I also appreciated that each mannequin station came with knee pads for added comfort, safety for the student'a knees, and less contact with the floor. 6) Bonus Star for having a refreshment station in the Hall! There was a full water cooler and fresh pot of coffee available, which is definitely necessary for a 3-4 hour class.

The online portion is great and really allows to to learn and practice the skills through virtual "missions" trips that give you real life scenarios. The in person training is just as thorough and informative. We each got one of our own mannequins to practice CPR on, along with 2 pairs of gloves, bandages and gauze to practice first aid, and he also provided practice AED's and EpiPen's for practice, and glove removal instruction! I would not recommend Compas driving school to anyone. we…read morepaid for the 8 hour training as well as the pre-driving test refresher and use of their car for the test, thinking we covered all the bases for a smooth experience. The owner showed up 20 minutes late for the refresher and as we arrived at mvc at the time they scheduled for us, we found our 17 year old daughter alone crying . The owner had left her there after advising her that his office scheduled her 2 hours late and she could not take the test. Did not wait to explain his error to us, and was incredibly condescending and argumentative on the phone. He lied and said he was "just an instructor" and could not give us the same refresher on the rescheduled date, only to later yell about being the owner and saying it was "not going to happen". I can see why they insist on a check or other non contestable form of payment, because I was blamed for not checking the time on the permit when it was his office that scheduled all of our times as they were paid well to do. This "professional" school turned our child's big day into a stressful nightmare. She was able to take the test the following day, causing me to take another day off, and fortunately did pass, coming home to lie in bed and de stress after this unnecessary experience. what a shame, please do yourself a favor and pick any other place to make your student's experience a good one.

He is understanding and encouraging when helping the client to fulfill each of the different parts of the training. He also brings personal and professional experience to the sessions and he is able to explain why each technique is important and why each technique is essential to performing CPR. He will stick with you until you get it and he also completes all the necessary paperwork, so you literally have nothing you need to do. He takes care of everything. I would recommend this service to teachers or coaches who are required to be CPR and AED certified as it is much better and much more personalized than those large, impersonal and boring classes that are held for these kinds of professionals who are seeking certification. I arrived last week for an early morning session to complete my BLS certification and I was not…read moredisappointed. The building was easy to find and there was ample parking available in the lot so no issues on that front. I arrived early and was greeted by a friendly guy named Gilbert who was very accommodating throughout the whole process. The class itself was straightforward with Gilbert encouraging an interactive atmosphere while also answering any questions that he received to clarify anything. Since I had not done my BLS certification in a few years, I wasn't the fastest student he probably ever dealt with when it came to demonstrating skills but he was patient and gave me valuable pointers. Overall, I enjoyed taking my BLS certification class here and would consider coming here again for any other certifications I may need down the road.
