Healthies just opened up on my route to my son's school, so I decided to stop in and see what this smoothie thing is all about. First off, everybody is super nice as soon as you walk in. The staff explains the menu and how ordering works really well. The only thing that was left to do was pick a flavor. I went with an açaí tea, with a pomegranate energy boost and a brownie batter smoothie. Both were delicious. The tea is like a really good cup of coffee without the jitters. That feeling you usually get at like 3pm where you're begging to go back to kindergarten just for the chance to have nap time again. The smoothie was like eating brownie batter out of the bowl (one of my personal favorite past times) without the weird sugar coma and inevitable regret. First of all this tastes amazing! It's a lemon head energy bomb tea. (I think I got that right) My husband and I have been doing keto for just a few days and I have self diagnosed keto flu and I have been running low on energy in the afternoons. I remember seeing this place but I am not a big "speciality drink" person. I normally just drink ice water. Well, I decided to give it a try... I was a bit intimidated before because I don't know a lot about supplements, protein powders etc... The girl making it was cool. Instead of trying to sell me things she showed Me the nutrition facts of what they use and let me decide on my own. This drink is wonderfully refreshing, tastes delicious and I have a ton of energy again! My only issue was that it was $9.50 but I get it.... gotta keep the lights on! Anyway. These shakes are advertised as "Healthy" while using Herbalife products which are not healthy. Herbalife products are a known pyrimd scheme, additional their product contain splenda which is not good for your gut health. The front counter clerk seem to be clueless about the materials in the shake powder not only that, the shakes do not contain any real fruit or veggies. Everything on the counter is powders and syrups. Even if "sugar free" these are not good for your health. Literally all you have to do is google the company and the Wikipedia says: "Herbalife agreed to "fundamentally restructure" its business and pay a $200 million fine as part of a 2016 settlement with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) following accusations of it being a pyramid scheme." I've come here a couple of times and while the shakes are pretty good, it's the açaí tea that keeps me coming back. I thought it was weird that you get a small, medium, or large tea with each shake. The two don't really seem to complement one another. However, I am obsessed with the açaí tea. As for the shakes, I'm not fully convinced they're under 300 calories. There's a very slight protein taste but other than that you can't tell there's any added vitamins etc. The only indication that they are in fact low calorie is that after finishing the drink for breakfast, I was starving a couple hours later. I have mixed feelings about it since the drinks are a bit pricey. The girl who has been working each time has been super nice and friendly. And there's always a decent amount of people inside. The ordering process is a bit confusing since you write your name and order down and don't necessarily pay at the front counter. My only complaint is the way the straws are dispensed, especially for the tea. There aren't wrappers on the straws, and while aesthetically it looks really nice, the idea that it's flu season and other peoples hands have likely touched my straw isn't ideal. That aside, I'm so excited there's another trendy and healthier option in the Mishawaka/Granger area! And I love trying all the shake flavors! read more

When you first walk in you see beautiful red color on the walls. Love it!! Next there is a friendly face behind the counter ready to serve you. Didn't catch her name but she was kind and sweet. I'm loving it already and haven't even gotten my shake yet!! Went in during lunch. Have had their shakes before at Happy Healthies on Ireland Rd and needed another place to go that was close to work. Ordered the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Shake and Blueberry Tea (new!) Delish! as always. Don't know why I stopped going. Thank you for making my lunch break amazing!!!!
