On the other hand, if she feels that a visit with a specialist is needed she doesn't hesitate to make a referral. I've never been kept waiting more than a few minutes past my scheduled appt time and have never felt like I was rushed or didn't have time to ask any questions I had. She in fact spent at least an extra 45 minutes with me at one recent visit - I was much sicker than I realized and she recognized right away that I needed to be transferred to the ER. She made all the necessary calls, and kept an eye on my condition until the paramedics arrived. She is prepared to deal with urgent problems like the one I was having but also takes the time to go thru everything health-related at least every year and makes sure that I'm up to date on my vaccines, etc. I feel very lucky to have found such a competent and empathetic medical provider.

Then, 2 years ago they lost my lab results so I had to schedule another appointment, fast, and get blood drawn a second time- frustrating but gave them benefit of doubt. For this years physical, I've now been called to reschedule my appointment 3 different times in a row- each time after taking off work and making plans, being told there's nothing they can do and it going to be another several months out. No option, no help. The first time in had to reschedule, they let me know the day I came into the office. These people clearly don't want your business, so do them the favor and do not give it to them.
