Bottom line: Darryl, Tom and the whole crew at Healthy Painting do things right! In summer of 2022 the team at Healthy Painting tackled our long overdue home exterior painting job. Built in 1942, our house had been painted many times, but not for quite a while. It was bubbling, peeling, cracking and just looked terrible. And as with most homes built during that era, the old paint contained lead. It turns out these complicating factors were no problem for the Healthy Painting team. While Healthy Painting's estimate was not the cheapest we received, we could not be happier with the work they did and the experience we had working with them. It was quite obvious during the process that Darryl (owner) and Tom (project manager) are passionate about doing a great job and doing it to the customer's satisfaction. And of course, safely addressing the lead paint. They set appropriate expectations given the age and condition of our original cedar plank siding, and the finished work exceeded our expectations. They did a great job on clean up and follow up as well. Sara the office manager is also helpful and responsive. It took me a while to write a review for this wonderful team. We had our house (interior) repainted last year around the time when painters were very busy. All the companies I sent inquiry to were booked, but Darryl was kind enough to make time for us! We were so happy that they were able to fit us in their busy schedule. And to top it all, they did a very great job! And we love that they use low VOC paint, no pungent and strong paint smell at all. Tom and his team are really nice and courteous. Darryl and his crew helped us with a much-needed (and overdue!) exterior repainting of our home in West Seattle. They were fantastic from start to finish. I Ioved the low VOC paint they used and filters to minimize the smell.
