Dr Strause is just awesome, absolutely pain free dentistry. A staff that is so wonderful and friendly. They use state of the art technology and they are reasonably priced. I have had very bad experiences in the past with dentists in CT who would charge an arm and a leg for the most basic of services. Not here. I can't say enough nice things about this practice.

I work for the defense industry and buy supplemental policies to keep bills to a minimum. Throughout the three years we've gone to Yorkshire Dental its "discovery learning" when it comes to billing. IT seems there's never a problem until we come in for an appointment. At first, there's a mix up between assigning our primary and supplemental insurance (which they had the nerve to blame on my wife). Then my spouse wasn't covered by any policies at all and we received bills (since rectified). Then there's mix ups in submitting insurance claims. Then they couldn't properly submit claims in a timely manner. The law says claims must be submitted in a timely and reasonable manner. I now have an outstanding bill for $1700 from May of 2024. They are working through it and have three options in my opinion: 1. Fix it with the insurance company (who normally set 90 days to one year to submit a claim), 2. Write if off due to their own inefficiency, or 3. send me the bill have force me to take them to small claims court (where a lawyer would cost them more than what I owe with a judge possibly seeing them not being "timely and reasonable". Either way, enough is enough. We've cancelled out appointments and will find a new dentist. It's a shame that an inefficient front office staff cost Dr. Bommu a customer who loved her work.

Dr. Sipes and his staff took their time explaining all my options thoroughly and gave me an option that I did not know was available to me. I had a previous consultation with another dental group that was misleading in my options and was much more expensive than what Dr. Sipes was offering me. I had previously been reluctant to go to the dentist due to fear of pain, but Dr. Sipes explained why his methods would not cause me outright pain and just a little discomfort. I decided to have a full implant to replace all the teeth in my upper jaw instead of having dentures or a combination of bridges and implants and teeth removals. Dr. Sipes is very knowledgeable and has a very nice manner about him. He didn't speak 'over' me; he made sure that I understood every aspect of the services he was offering. Dr. Sipes was right about the pain...I only had a little discomfort from the shots and the rest of the procedure was pain-free! Recovery from my procedure was quick and pain-free as well. I have been so pleased with the full implant in my upper jaw. It seems as if it is my own natural teeth. It is easy to clean and looks very natural and I'm thrilled that I went with the full implant. The staff have been very nice and helpful. The office is very nice and well- organized. They have state-of-the-art techniques and equipment. I recommend Sipes Dental for anyone, but especially if you have avoided dental treatments due to fear of pain or because you have a lot of dental work than needs done. It's well worth how good you will feel having nice teeth again.

After I explained she informed me that she would address my problem and said they would reimburse my full amount. I was really surprised and thank her for helping me out. Within 3 days I had a check in the mail. The fact that Dr. Genetti personally contacted me and took care of my problem shows she cares about her patients. I am out of network for my dental insurance. But I checked with the insurance on what kind of…read morecoverage I would have for a comprehensive evaluation and if they used code D9310 for billing my insurance would cover 80% of the $250 charge. I called 2 times and informed billing about the code and when I went to my appointment I made it clear I didn't want to have the evaluation if they used another code. I was told on the phone and at the appointment they would use that specific code. When I want to pay the bill at checkout they told me total bill is $445. I had to pay out of pocket and they would send to my insurance company. The other charge was for Radiographic imaging. I thought everything was part of the evaluation but I paid it thinking the insurance company would pay 80%. They did not use the code number I gave them for billing and out of $445 charge the insurance company only paid $66. When I called billing about this matter they said they don't use that billing code I questioned why 3 times they told me they do and gave them the code each time. This was a problem for me due to being out of work from surgery and didn't have a lot of money to spend for a consultation. I feel I was lied to and not properly informed about the additional charges for the Radiographic. Needless to say I will not go back for the second consultation to discuss what dental procedures they recommend.

I could see I was going to be paying for this doctor's children's private school! Don't go here unless you plan to be conned Into more than you want! You're the boss of your own mouth! I get a message months later that they need to reschedule the cleaning and that they don't have hours past 6pm. It entirely unreasonable to cut your hours so people have to take vacation time to get a cleaning. The receptionist was an immature person incapable of explanation as a reasonable adult. If you're going to reduce your hours, the very least you could do is plan ahead and honor the appointments you have and not inconvenience patients. It's clear this practice does not care for its patients. And a good family practice lost in Lancaster.

He takes time to answer questions and engages in conversation in a way that Dr. O'Donnell just never bothered with. My husband (who has had two crowns put in) and daughter (who has had a tooth pulled) are both equally pleased with the service here, so I feel good about sticking with this practice for my family's dental needs.

I asked about being on a waitlist if someone cancelled last minute and the receptionist acted like I was crazy. Oddly enough they had no problem scheduling an appointment for a more urgent issue (which will, of course, be more lucrative). Interestingly enough, I had an issue in the past where a hygienist berated me for not getting frequent enough cleanings. If you are looking for complete dental care options and not just emergency availability, I do not recommend this office.
