I was checking prices to see if I could afford it since my dental insurance does not cover implants. I did a little research and read reviews for periodontists and pricing near me. When I called F&S to get prices, she gave me an option with a very affordable payment plan. I was very happy and scheduled the appointment for the following week. Yesterday was my appointment and I had a wonderful experience here. Dr Fishel and his staff are amazing and walked me thru the process and gave excellent instructions for follow up care. Everyone else not so much, especially the dentist Dr. Williams. My fiancé has extreme dental anxiety and a very bad gag reflex. His first language is also not English, though he is fluent he still gets confused. With that being said our first visit when the assistant asked his birthday, he paused, which she responded with "you have to think about it?" And not in a joking tone, more annoyed. The rest of that appointment was okay, with Dr. Williams being very monotoned and didn't seem to care too much about my fiancé's appointment. When my fiancé came home one day after his fillings, he was CRYING. He said that his gag reflex was pretty bad during the appointment, and he gagged twice at the end which made Dr. Williams put down his tools and said "we are done here". He didn't say anything else to my fiancé and left. He felt very disrespected and upset. Next thing you know, two days later his fillings FELL OUT. At that point we made an appointment with my dentist to get a second opinion on some things as we were not happy with the work that was done at Aspen. My dentist took a few pictures and pointed out that aspen left some jagged pieces of filling, and my fiancés tooth is not smooth anymore? We did end up going back to aspen to fix his fillings and the other issues that my dentist pointed out, but ultimately they only refilled the filling, and again Dr. Williams left the room without speaking to us and left that to his assistant. Not only that but they didn't give my fiancé sunglasses until after blinding him with their light (that is being held on by tape mind you), and they also do not test your numbness before starting their procedures as they had to redo my fiancés anesthesia because it HURT HIM. He was not numb even though we sat for 30 minutes waiting for them to come back and start. He also cried about this appointment due to being in pain and Williams being rude. After seeing all the terrible reviews about him, I wonder how he is still holding a job. That's just terrible letting your customers continue to go through this because of that horrible doctor. I will never recommend Aspen.

The doctors and staff are incredibly knowledgeable. Before any actual treatment began the doctors met with me and my daughter to assess what needed to be done. They did not rush us through or push us to make a decision. I truly felt as though the best care for my daughter was their only concern. During her treatment I have never been "left out of the loop" . They explain each procedure, why it's being done and what the result should be. The explanation is also given to my daughter. She is included in her care. I think that's huge. From the moment you enter the office the atmosphere is calm and welcoming. A manic situation in an office can lend itself to increasing the anxiety a patient feels. The office environment at F & S helps to greatly reduce that. The staff is caring, kind and compassionate. Each visit tends to feel more like you are visiting a friend than having dental work. I am grateful I chose F&S to take care of my daughter. They are an incredibly knowledgeable, dedicated team of professionals who have their patients best interest in mind all the time. My daughter is not their only patient (they take care of me now too!) but they make me feel like she is. And for me, it doesn't get any better than that.
