Included were batteries and maintenance. I tried them on at my second appointment. Was not allowed outside her office to try and hear in a public setting. One aid was working incorrectly. She told me she would send it back to manufacturer for fixing or get a new one. Weeks went by, no phone call. Called her many times, left messages, never any response. It's been at least 6 weeks since that appointment and I kniw I'm never going to see her or my hearing aids again... She may say she is "affordable" as in the name of her business , but there is no follow up, no customer service. She might as well fallen off the face of the earth with the (non) service she provided.

Chuck's desire was to sell me two. He hammered away at me for an hour, frequently saying that "I wouldn't let my mother leave here without two." He told me multiple times that unless I get a hearing aid for my other ear now, I would lose the hearing I do have. I left. Did research. According to Johns Hopkins, "Hearing aids do not prevent the progression of hearing loss over time." Either Chuck is ill-informed and therefore not qualified. Or he is dishonest. 2) He spoke down to me, as if I were a confused senior citizen looking for a savior, rather than a well-informed citizen with advanced degrees and access to the Internet. 3) He was not able to discuss with details the model I had interest in. ADULT CHILDREN OF PARENTS IN NEED: Be very careful if you choose to use Chuck's services. He also works in their Blairsville Office and a third in the Blue Ridge, Ellijay area.

I responded before and after getting the hearing test that I knew my right ear had hearing loss, but as in the past the vertigo was from my "crystals" being out of alignment.... they decide (never saw a doctor) I have something awful going on and want to blast my system with prednisone, and antibiotics for 10 days, come back in 2 weeks..... fast forward 2 weeks, still have vertigo, can't drive, walk a straight line, and now my immune system is fried. They decided (again, no doctor) to put me through more tests. One of which burnt my ear canal. Blowing warm air into the ear canal to test the ear drum. I repeatedly asked the lady to STOP the test, it hurt so badly. She didn't. FINALLY, they did the Epley maneuver to move the crystals back into place. I left this office, and within 2 days had one of the worst sinus infections. (In the past month this is the only place I had been to.) It's been two weeks since then and my ear is still healing from the burn. I did go to another dr who confirmed my ear canal was burnt. I will never return there, I will never recommend them. "Do no harm". Ha! Beware! They want to do expensive tests, when I told them it was my crystals, and a simple maneuver would have given me Relief, they insisted on ridiculous testing.... so sorry I trusted them and didn't stop their bullshit. Beware.
