His thorough explanations and reassurance gave me peace of mind while I was monitored for 3 hours as recommended by Poison Control. Dr Baird checked on me several times throughout my stay and made sure I had the opportunity to ask any questions. When I told him I was cold, he took the time to bring me a warm blanket. I wished I could remember everyone's names. There was a paramedic who drew my blood that was kind and professional. Later, another staff member brought me a second blanket because I still felt cold. A curly haired, kind, polite, young man came in a couple times to ask how I was doing and was the one who checked me out. These thoughtful gestures meant so much and made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. Thank you, Dr Baird, and the entire care team, for your kindness, compassion and professionalism. I told the girl I had been talking to that this was absolutely unacceptable. She looked at me , said have a nice day and walked off. I will never go there again! It had been recommended to me by a friend so I was expecting professional service. If there was a zero star rating that would be my choice.
