I recently experienced damage to one of my hearing aids. After researching online, I found that the…read morenecessary replacement part costs only $35 brand new. My wife suggested I check whether the repair would be covered under warranty. When I called, I was told it was--but that I'd have to pay a $344 deductible, and they would send the device out for repair. This is a clear example of a company prioritizing profit over the customer. Unfortunately, many people would never think to research whether such a repair could be done themselves. From the very beginning of my experience with this location, I've never felt valued as a customer. I obtained my hearing aids through a program for the underprivileged in Michigan, yet I was consistently treated as though I should be "grateful" for their help. At one point, a doctor even accused me of lying when I described the poor treatment I received. My hearing aids cost over $3,500, and regardless of who pays the bill, every patient deserves to be treated with respect. Do your research--there are better providers out there than this one.
