I had them four years and never liked them. Everything sounded like I had a bucket over my head. Eating potato chips sounded like two skeletons fighting on a tin roof. I couldn't decipher conversations very well, and I kind of gave up on long conversations because they were so uncomfortable. I thought, ok this is the way it is. My life was like the Prufrock poem by Elliott. I found Dr. Donna Hill at Audiology Professionals using Yelp. I didn't really expect much. More of the same...either an expensive fix on my old hearing aids or some new ones that wouldn't serve me much better. WOW, WAS I EVER WRONG! Dr. Hill let me try out some new behind the ear types. I couldn't believe it. I could hear crisp sounds. I could differentiate words without lag time. I know it sounds over the top, but hearing became a celebration. I swear these new hearing aids will change my life. Thanks, Dr. Hill. These things are tuned so accurately to my needs that its like I'm not hearing impaired at all. My appointment to day was an incredible experience. From the front desk, hearing test and communicating with Shawn my experience exceeded my expectations. Shawn was patient, gave avery detailed test and his explanation of my test results were great and easy to understand. Shawn explained that I did not need new hearing aids as he could set them to my new test scores. Shawn then patiently took the time to set my hearing aids to my iPhone. If I could give zero stars I would. This is the absolute WORST place I have ever dealt with for…read morecare. I waited over an HOUR AND A HALF past my appointment time to be seen for my FIRST appointment with a new primary doctor after over a year of not having one. I was stuck on waiting lists and unable to get my medications. They didn't even greet me when they walked me back. The doctor didn't ask or seem to care about anything besides refilling my ADHD medication. I waited an hour and a half for a 10 minute appointment. Then they sent the wrong instructions to the pharmacy and the pharmacy couldn't refill my medication. I tried calling this office but you can't even leave them a voicemail and they're closed on weekends. During the week expect to sit on hold for at LEAST 20 minutes. They never respond through the patient portal either. The lack of communication and care is extremely frustrating. I'm leaving this review now because once again the pharmacy cannot refill a different medication for me that I urgently need because they have sent MULTIPLE requests for a refill (it should be on auto refill so I'm not sure what the issue is) and have gotten ZERO response from these people. I can't even refill it through their portal. So here I am a day before I need my medication and unable to get ahold of anyone here and unsure as to why they have not responded to the pharmacy. I will be switching providers as soon as I am able to because this place genuinely SUCKS. Would not recommend to anyone.
