Ryan and Ashley continually invest in the box, keeping it stocked with the newest equipment. Training and training others to better themselves is their passion and it shows. It's hard not to be inspired by Ryan and Ashley's grit and dedication. The coaches are knowledgeable and encouraging. Ryan and Ashley produce excellent programming, resulting in gains for all. The box has a great culture. Fellow members become friends and help each other through tough workouts. The box offers plenty of class times, so there is an option for everyone. The coaches are happy to modify workouts to accomodate every fitness level. If you are visiting Great Falls stop in to be trained by some regional qualifiers. If you are looking for a new box to call home in Great Falls, this is the spot.

Greg was the manager of Access Fitness and I was never talked down to or treated contemptuously by his staff. The Peak staff at the West Bank Landing failed to cancel my membership correctly then charged my account. When I attempted to inform them of the error I was blamed and asked to prove and show my receipt and email it to them. I was additionally mocked for doing all of the above by another member of the staff. I followed the chain of command and was told at every turn it was my error and not theirs. Ultimately I had to talk to my bank after it was made evident they would not take accountability and further the issue up the chain of command. I was aggrieved to be required to go to such lengths because of the attitude and lack of action taken by the staff at multiple levels. Suffice it to say I will not ever be rejoining.

This apparently used to be Gold's Gym and I'm guessing they lost their franchise because of the above issues. They must have spent a fortune with a marketing firm to come up with the new name... "The Gym". To be fair they were making some improvements in the men's locker room so it might be looking up. For you out of towners, when you stay at the Fairfield Inn you get to use this gym for free.

The gym is typically good. It got very dirty for quite some time because they eliminated all of the…read morestaff. They recently hired a cleaning guy, and it's much cleaner. Many of the machine pads are worn and cracked and need replacing. Some machines get broken and sit around for months before being repaired. The owner comes across as annoyed whenever you let him know of a problem. Since he lives in another state, you'd think he'd appreciate feedback! As for the local "manager", he's very unpleasant. The few times he ever appears in the gym, he scowls at everyone and never says a word to anyone. He'll walk within 2 feet of you and not even acknowledge you are there. To top that off, HE ALWAYS PARKS IN THE HANDICAP SPOT! He has no handicap sticker and is perfectly fit! Why can't he park in a normal and LEGAL spot like the rest of us?
