There are only two locations in Disneyland Park where you can get a silhouette: Silhouette Studio and Disneyana. Both stores are located on Main Street. Disneyana is located on the right once you scan into Disneyland Park. It is a small store that can easily be missed, so make sure to read the signage. Disneyana not only offers silhouettes, but they're mainly known for selling collectible figurines and limited edition and original artwork. It wasn't too busy when I visited. There were only 3 other guests in front of me. Once I entered, I was immediately greeted and felt welcomed. The initial Cast Member (did not catch her name) asked if I would like a silhouette done. I told her I'd like a silhouette of my family dog. She filled out a small laminated sheet and handed it to me to hold onto until my name was called. You can either wait outside or shop around inside. I went to Jolly Holiday to grab coffee and came back. Shortly after, I was called for my turn. I had multiple photos of my family dog ready. They can ONLY take side pictures as a reference. They are very specific in the types of side pictures they can do, so make sure you're prepared. They'll let you know whether the picture is acceptable or not. Cast Member Jan did my silhouettes. She was very sweet, quick, and efficient. She finished the silhouettes under 10 minutes. Cast Member Sarah "glued" the silhouettes onto a 5'7 paper card stock. I decided not to get it framed, but they safely placed them in a folding card. There are two tiers: standard and premium. The standard tier is $11.99 for a human silhouette. The premium tier is $14.99 for anything other than a human silhouette. The frame is sold separately starting at $19.99. I'd say it is absolutely worth it. I love every little detail of the cut outs! They do two silhouettes. The frame is cute with 42 hidden Mickey's, or you can customize your own frame too.

For years I have wanted a gold cross chain but everything online is overpriced, poor quality, and mass produced. He drew this up and had it made and I absolutely love it. Perfect size, unique, quality, and the value is in the chain and piece as gold value keeps increasing. The cross is tapered from top to bottom, the chain is the right diameter for my size, and the length is perfect. I have not removed it for 3mo! Richard, you are so talented and we love what you do. Melody, the office manager was super nice and helpful, answered all my questions and was great about follow up. Knowing I had a 2yr old, they demonstrated their knowledge and experience with this age group because they were able to provide the pros/cons of each setting and the best time to get the most cooperation. On the day, we got a call that morning from Melody to remind us and let us know where to meet exactly. Thank god...cuz my phone crashed, with all my notes! Although the promo was for 1-hour photog session, we were done before then but still got a ton of pictures to choose from. Kristi was sweet and professional. I liked her instantly. We went and saw our proofs just the other day. The studio was small but yet the way they had it set up, it was roomy and comfy. We went through each of our pics on a huge screen and gave them thumbs up or down on them. I felt like i was sitting at home going through our own albums. It was that comfy! From the proofs, some the images were pretty pose-y, while others were so natural that Kristi was able to catch. I just wish my little guy was smiling in more of the pictures. Too bad with the retouching they'll be doing, they couldn't retouch them to add smiles to my little grouch! I've never done professional photos before, so I can't give you a good comparison to cost. But it seemed pricey, based on my limited knowledge of what Asian shops do for much less cost. But KSE has beautiful photo boxes that you can load with 23 or so photos, and the photos will then go into a book. But to get the book, you have to buy the photo boxes. Since we already had thousands of photos, we just chose a few family shots and pair shots. I wanted more but aside from our own database, our wallets just didn't permit me spending needlessly! =( But I think I'll be happy with what we chose. Can't wait to pick them up! Note to anyone going to the studio with child in stroller....the studio is on the 2nd floor , so you have to go up 2 flights of stairs. There's no elevator. Thank god my stroller was light and didn't add to the weight of a sleeping 2yr. old. Bring quarters for street parking or go down towards the residential area and try your luck parking there.

Taking boudoir photos was a…read morelittle out of my comfort zone; but, Kristi reassured over the phone prior to my appointment and once we met in her studio I felt totally at ease. I got my hair and makeup done (by Annie Vandyke) at the studio before my session which added to my confidence (along with a glass a champagne :) The photo session was fun! Kristi demonstrated how to pose, so all I had to do was copy her. The images turned out fantastic! I took my fiancé to the ordering session and he loved the photos, it was difficult to narrow down our favorites. The photos were truly pieces of art. I am so happy to have found Kristi, having this experience right before our wedding was a perfect reminder of our romance. Thank you Kristi!
