It was my first visit to the Institute. I was very pleased with the receptionists, who were friendly and professional. From that point on I was seen by other staff members who had different responsibility in obtaining medical information from me. I was introduced to the Heart doctor and the Vascular doctor. I felt very important, and for once, my medical issues would be addressed. My follow up appointments were soon and not months away. I was assured that my medical issues would be resolved. Medical staff are either incompetent or apathetic. Either way, it's not a good look for a cardiologist who is supposedly a renowned doctor. A basic medical care procedure was not addressed by 3 professionals (did not prescribe or note that there were no meds to address edema). But hey, the office looks good. Lots of Black patients. No Black employees thought that would reflect the institute's patient population. Stay away. read more

The staff is VERY dry and not engaging (sensitive) at all. On my initial visit, I was asked the same question several times by 3 different people. The issue could have been resolved by going into the computer as they informed me that they would. My next appointment was scheduled for me without asking if it was a good time!!!??? I was referred by my PC PROVIDER, whom I trust very much. Maybe they could be just a little more friendly which would go a long way. read more

So I've been there twice now and both time the first desk folks (it's 4) don't seem to understand what a mask is. One had it below her nose, another below her chin and a third had such an ill fitting on that the gaps on the side were huge. This is a VERY busy and overcrowded office too. So on top of having way to many folks in the waiting room the front desk is actively taking calls and dealing with patients ALL WHILE no proper mask. This is a DOCTOR office and they can't even do the right thing. It's disgusting and made me not want to be there. On top of that they lose your information, can't find your appts either. On second visit I actually to to see the doc and everyone in the back had proper masks and were actually friendly. now the dr and the front desk is all open area in the back, they see what the front desk folks are doing and don't care, so now I'm questioning everyone mindset here. And yes I've worn a mask for an entire work day for 3 months straight it's actually not hard to do, at the end of my first week I was forgetting I had it on, but you have to actually WEAR it to get used to it. There service is a 2 and the safety of going there is a 1 I don't know if the other locations are better but at Dearborn they let the front staff do whatever and none but one of the 4 seem to actually be good at their job read more

Wait times are absurd, do not come here. Find someplace else that has someone with at least half a brain to schedule correctly. Every single time I have come here i've waited 2+ hours just to be taken in, and even then I wait more in the rooms. read more

Waited two hours beyond my appointed time and finally left. Another woman sat over 4 hours. Clearly, this is a poorly run office. Odd because there appears to be 50 staff members running throughout the place--mostly grabbing lunch. Do yourself a favor, and find a cardiologist who will save your life instead of wasting moments of it. read more

This business is very disorganized and all over the place. The location is pretty but they have no type of professionalism that should be present in a medical center. Had to wait forever for test results that we were told were ready. This was needed for my mother to know if she could be cleared for a very needed surgery. They also kept asking the same questions that we asked previously, showing that they paid very little attention to their patients. Very disappointed with the service here. Been a patient here for a long time, almost 8 years. Not once have my appointments been on time. I've been cancelled on many times. Staff make appointments without talking to me about what will work for me. I've walked out many times. Prescription refills take, on average, about 2 weeks! Staff are everywhere but don't care and are brusque and terse. They speak extremely fast and are not clear. Writing this while sitting in the office for my visit that was scheduled over an hour ago. Time to walk and seek better care elsewhere. read more
