However Dr. Lana and her team made my emergency this morning as comfortable as possible. I went in with excruciating tooth pain and was warmly welcomed as I walked in. The desk staff was friendly and polite. I was called back almost immediately and was quickly assessed by Dr. Lana. She was kind, gentle, and has great energy. She sent my scripts to my pharmacy as she walked me out. We chatted as much as I could in deep pain. I learned that the location had just opened. It's a clean modern beautiful facility with a large parking lot. My office visit cost was comparable to other emergency/urgent care practices. The office provides sports physicals and COVID-19 testing among other things.

When I arrived at the parking lot, I checked-in via a QR code that was on a window sign. It took me to a portal to complete paperwork and that took only a minute or two since I had not been there before. After I submitted the paperwork, I got a text message indicating that it was received and then another text a minute later indicating that everything good with the paperwork. I settled in by turning on a podcast in my car and dug into a magazine. About 5 minutes later, somebody came outside and called a name. My window was up and I assumed it was somebody who arrived before me. But when she called out the name again, I rolled down the window and to my suprise, it was my turn to go in. I was taken to a room where somebody immediately took vitals and a history of my illness. She did a quick covid and flu test. It took about 10 minutes to get the results back and a doctor (RN?) came in to give me the good news - no covid, no influenza but she asked more questions as to my symptoms and wound up writing my an Rx for cough drops and inhaler. Overall, a quick experience, especially in this time of covid and various protocols implemented. I would definitely come here again.

I called today after reviewing my results because the test I requested was not performed. I was open to discussing it, but that didn't seem to be the case on her end. I explained that the vitamin D test drawn was not the correct one for checking deficiency--it was done correctly during my visit in 2025. She insisted it was the same test and even stated that the system we were both looking at showed the same thing, as if I did not understand what I was reviewing. However, the system clearly shows otherwise. The test that was ordered was for hormone/active vitamin D levels, not for deficiency. If this is a small mistake--and I understand that mistakes can happen--the issue for me is that there was no willingness to acknowledge or correct it. There was also no consideration that the lab itself may have made an error. It took from Saturday to Tuesday just to receive the result of one blood test. After working a 12-hour shift, I came in because I had already been told the wrong test was done. While I understand other patients need care and didn't mind waiting, I was ultimately ignored instead of having a simple conversation to address the issue. After some time, I decided to leave and go to another urgent care for more attentive and thorough treatment. These are not the same tests--they measure different forms of vitamin D--and it was frustrating to be told otherwise. Update: Hours later, I received multiple calls from the office--none from the NP I originally saw. While I was told the issue was due to the lab switching their codes, there was still no acknowledgment of how the situation was handled. Even if this was a lab-related error, it does not address the provider's lack of listening or willingness to consider that the information in the system may not have matched what she believed. I was told we were both looking at the same thing, despite pointing out clear differences. Beaumont has been Corewell, including their labs, for at least two years now, so that explanation raises additional questions. Regardless, my concern is not just about where the error originated, but the lack of accountability and communication. I would prefer not to receive repeated calls providing conflicting or inaccurate information, especially when there has been no acknowledgment of the initial concern. At this point, I have gone and received care elsewhere.

I have done my annual physical and bloodwork here the last 2 years despite them not taking insurance for it and having to pay cash. Now this year in addition to not taking my insurance for the physical and bloodwork there is and additional $80 charge, PER PERSON for the bloodwork which has never been a thing. Last year they refused to sign off on my bloodwork because my cholesterol was higher, causing me to be charged by my employer. Also they poked my wife over 13 times trying to draw blood and you can see here veins from down the street. I will never be coming to this place again!

Went in on Saturday for an X-ray and I was told…read morethat I would have an answer by Saturday evening or sometime Sunday because they had to send it off. I called on Sunday for the results and I was told that the place they send X-rays to was closed on Sundays, that they would know something by Monday. On Monday when I called they said they hadn't sent it over to the place to have it read, but would and they would know something by the end of the day. I called back at the end of the day and they still didn't have the results. They did give me the number to the place they send the X-rays to so I called them and left a message. The man quickly called me back and said he didn't have my X-rays, but he did list off all the last names of the ones sent over by Xpress and other urgent cares who use their services. He asked me if I could take a photo of my X-rays and text them to him while we were on the phone and he'd read them. Since I don't have access to those X-rays I was unable to! Due to the run around by this place I had no choice but to go to another urgent care, Beaumont Urgent Care, for X-rays!! Beaumont was able to do my x-rays, give me the results and have me out of there within forty minutes!!

When I asked a year later what the results were and if there were impacting me, the doctor said, "what tests". I had been suffering with serious pain. They diagnosed it as IBS. FAST FORWARD I have gallstones. Maybe it wasn't the same but I feel as if due diligence had been done then I may have had more info on my health.
