Carol's Heart Centered meditation retreats are wonderful! They are conducted in the beautiful, quiet setting of her home. A very special spot indeed. History

Established in 2018.

Before I moved to Cape Cod I worked as a psychologist, led retreats, taught meditation classes and was director of the Joy Lane Healing Center. I am no longer working as a psychologist but am teaching guided meditation classes and leading retreats here on Cape Cod. I have opened a new business called Heart Centered Peace. My meditation experience comes from several sources: a Native American spiritual practice and a 20 plus year involvement with the Washington Center for Consciousness studies under the direction of Dr. Rudy Bauer. Here I studied the interface between psychology, phenomenology, and Dgzochen Buddhism. I bring also a deep respect and connection to Nature to my work.

Meet the Business Owner: Carol M.

I have a masters degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. I worked with the Montgomery County Police Department for seven years and then opened a private practice in Southern Maryland. My parents lived here on Cape Cod so for a long time I have loved this place and am very happy to be living here. For this part of my life I am interested in partnering with Nature to help people open to a sense of interconnectedness with all of life.
