I just completed my 277th class. What started as "maybe I'll try this for two weeks" has become one of the best things I've done for myself physically and mentally. btone completely changed my relationship with fitness. I'm stronger, more toned, have better balance and endurance, and actually look forward to working out now -- something I never thought I'd say. The instructors continue to be incredible. They challenge you while still making the classes approachable for every fitness level, and the atmosphere is supportive instead of intimidating. Whether you're walking in for your first class or celebrating your 500th, everyone is encouraged and celebrated. One of my favorite things is that no matter how many classes I take, I still feel challenged and continue seeing progress. The workouts never feel stale. For anyone intimidated to start: I was absolutely the person who thought fitness programs "weren't for me." Now I'm the person taking 6am classes multiple times a week and planning my schedule around btone. Safe to say the two-week trial worked. :)

The Yin class my sister, cousin and I attended was just what I needed. We made up nearly half of the class, and direction was given clearly and optional poses were suggested for people who had different ranges of flexibility. If I should ever find myself lucky enough to find myself spending time around here, I will hope to make it back for another class.

I'm in my late 60s and have some physical restrictions due to arthritis, and Kim knows exactly how to work with me to adapt certain exercises and still benefit from the experience.
