Loved the beach yoga! Will be back next year. Felt like a new person afterwards - the sun and sand and the instructor were great!

Clean, we'll run and a good practice. We stopped in while spending some time during the off-season in the cape. I learned that this is a new location; recently established. We took a morning vinyasa practice. The teacher taught a creative sequence. There were strong Baptiste expressions and more of an ashtanga approach to alignment. As an instructor, I avoid offering specific alignment cues to new practitioners. Being corrected for my alignment by a teacher I do not know, turned me off a bit. However, I enjoyed the practice and the energy of the space. read more

I had such a great experience here this past weekend at a beginners yoga workshop. I've wanted to start practicing for a while now but felt unsure of the best way to get started as I knew so little about yoga and had such limited experience. Taking a workshop like this, was the jump start I needed to see where I was physically and to build up my comfort level. Mary Catherine was a lovely instructor with lots of sweet positive energy. She was so good at keeping everyone at ease and made sure to go around and give helpful tips and suggestions on poses and modifications. She was also really good at breaking down the steps needed to get into the poses. As a beginner, I found this to be an incredibly helpful skill for a teacher to have. Her way of explicitly talking you through the steps needed to smoothly get into and out of each pose is so effective. Especially lovely was the relaxing savasana when she came around and gave a mini massage and spritz of aromatherapy lavender spray. They offer all different sorts of classes and workshops. The following day I came back for a Yin Yoga class which was definitely challenging but a great experience in the end. It really challenges your ability to stay quiet and in the moment and work on your breath as you hold poses for a longer time. This is a beautiful space. Bright and airy and fresh. The bathroom is clean with beautiful artwork on the walls, stocked with lovely hand soap, a natural air freshener, and clean cloth hand towels . There is a little kitchen as well were you can buy bottles of The Local Juice's fresh cold pressed juices or pour yourself a mason jar full or purified water from the bubbler. So disappointing! I've been twice ... once in the summer when the studio was so packed I could touch the nose of the person next to me ... and when I tried in November, the studio was similarly crammed. I had hoped this would be my go-to yoga studio but I will not likely go back. read more

Have come here 2 times, while visiting the Cape and am very impressed with this studio. The staff is so friendly and the instructors are knowledgeable and compassionate. The studio is decor is mellow, tasteful, and appropriately zen. Their rental mats are Manduka Pros. Love the vibe and look of Orleans Yoga and look forward to visiting on future Cape trips! read more

Petra's classes are the absolute best. I always make a point to book a class here when I'm in town for the weekend.

A beautiful, new studio that has a nice decor with high quality props. The owner runs a challenging class with a strong focus on alignment and a progression through postures that builds and strengthens towards a few climactic poses. Can't wait to come back again next year during our annual vacation on the cape. read more

Petra is one of my favorite yoga teachers- I've practiced yoga since 1988- first in india, then Iyengar, power yoga, Kripalu, Bikram. Petra leads the most thoughtful and therapeutic sequences. I'm in a pose until I think I can't continue, then she moves us into something using all new muscles and I'm fresh again. She brings so much intelligence and years of training into what she's offering. I'm easily bored in yoga classes; always checking the clock- but never with Petra. read more

This is the outer Cape's finest studio by far -- clean, well-designed, inspirational. Nice sundrenched room, new Manduka mats to rent if you need them. Great bolsters, pillows, blankets and anything else you might need. And best of all, great and caring teachers. The classes are flow and focus on movement -- not holding poses like an Iyengar class -- but even if you aren't used to that, you won't be left in the dust. If you are a beginner, an intermediate or advanced yogi, there's probably a class for you. Petra's classes are my favorite, but she has collected an insanely solid group of instructors-- so just showing up insures you will learn something and be well taken care of. This is a happy, caring place. Caution: do watch where you park your car. Spaces are limited in front of the studio, so you may have to drive down Route 6 a tiny way to the Staples Shopping Center and park there. read more

I've followed Petra around the cape, at different studios because her classes are a wonderful combination of good alignment, challenging poses and purely positive environment. She has created a studio that includes all of these within a clean and new space that is conveniently located and a pleasure to be in. read more

Honestly had the worst experience here. Yoga studio was not clean, very grimy. Environment was not at all peaceful or positive. The owner, Petra, kept hitting on me! I have a husband! WTF! Overall do not recommend... read more
