During set up, Tim was there with his team hanging décor for us and making sure we had all the tables and chairs we needed. They were all very helpful and gracious to work with. Our caterer was thrilled with the kitchen access. The café area was the perfect place to hang out away from the loud music and dancing. The kids LOVED the way it looked and felt. Why would she have everyone drive three hours for the wedding when no one lives near here ? Come to the property and discover her reasons. Truly in the countryside. Huge parking lot with attendants to guide you. Lots of mature trees. Ponds. Fabulous fountain. Spacious grassy areas. Nice restroom facilities with changing room upstairs. Large barn. Yard games. The fall pictures will be incredible. The green lawn with white chairs, and brick path leading to an outdoor raised alter as the breeze tosses leaves all around. The natural area here is just plain gorgeous. While pictures were taken before and after the ceremony, horseshoe pits, giant connect four, and frisbee games were available to the guests to play on the lawn. After the ceremony we go to the barn, where it is a perfect up. An area for buffet service, a small kitchen for the caterers to set up in complete with industrial refrigerator and sinks. A bar area. DJ or band stage. Large dance floor. Large seating area with tables and chairs. Rustic, but very clean. The chandeliers are an awesome touch. The entire venue seems so well organized from a guest's perspective. BTW - for those that want to enjoy an event here, Redding Lyft does deliver and pick you up.

I could understand if it was a larger amount but for 9-tables and 2-months advance I don't think that is very fair to the customer.

We had a great time except: I am handicapped and the entrances to the barn had steps at every door except the main front doors. The owners refused to open these doors to allow me to enter the easiest way. I had to enter the next best which had a step up that was difficult for me to maneuver but with help from family members, I was able to get up. The other issue was that the venue was rented until 10 pm. At about 5 pm the owners started packing everything up and started to make everyone leave. They were very rude and not accommodating at all. I feel sorry for the bridal party that rented the place and I believe they deserve an apology and a refund for the 4+ hours that they were not allowed to use the facility.

The house was setup perfectly for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready, the Pub house for the groom and groomsmen was outstanding. There were plenty of beds for everyone to stay comfortably for the weekend and having RV parking was a added bonus for our out of town family. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare breakfast for everyone, and was set up great for the caterers for the rehearsal dinner. There were more than enough tables, chairs, cutlery and linen for everything we needed. I don't think my pictures do justice to the venue. It was amazing. This venue is prefect for a wedding hands down, but I would like to add this venue would be perfect for any gathering. It was beautiful! Gwen and I chatted on the phone, and I was terribly afraid of the cost of a wedding planner. I know that in the Bay Area, they are ridiculously priced. So I told Gwen that I would be more comfortable just doing "day of" coordination. And she said "i really prefer to work with my brides from day one. I will do that anyway." and she gave me her price.. I almost choked. It was so affordable! And she was on EVERYTHING. Emailing me updates with all of my vendors, finding me vendors that I couldn't get to, just truly gave me sanity during such a crazy time. My wedding day was so smooth. Gwen was on top of everything. At no point did I get stressed out that anything was going wrong because I trusted that Gwen had handled it all. She has such a creative and aesthetic eye. I knew that once the wedding was over, I would miss working with Gwen. Gwen, thank you so much for making my big day so spectacular. All of my guests told me that my wedding looked and felt like a million bucks even though we were very price conscious!
