Four different times this florist has delivered expensive bouquets from friends who live hundred of miles from me. The arrangements are lovely. The flowers have begun to wilt. The next day, flowers begin to drop petals By the third day, the bouquet looks a week old. I have flowers bought at the local grocery store that last longer. When a friend asked me to send a photo of the flowers, I try to turn the side least wilted. I call the florist or take in the wilted flowers and a different arrangement is prepared. The workers at the shop are nice and I try to understand, but I hear the same story every time. I have sent and received flowers for decades and never had a complaint. But this florist has never failed to disappoint me. read more

We were coming into Huntsville to watch our son graduate right after Mother's Day. Heartfield Florist agreed to put together a beautiful flower arrangement for my wife and they also arranged (with our permission) to have that arrangement waiting in our hotel room as we checked in. My wife had tears flowing down her face as the arrangement was spectacular. It was colorful and mixed perfectly and it, along with watching our son graduate, was such an addition to this very special trip. Have used for years. However; tried to get roses. Was told they only filled orders in the order they are received. Then was told they where only filling delivery orders. To top that they wanted to charge extra (above) the standard 5 dollar delivery fee. Needless to say, took my business elsewhere. Only rating a two, instead of less, because they took the time to explain all the reasons they couldn't sell me any roses as a walk in. read more

I was so disappointed in the flower arrangement delivered from this floral shop. I chose the "Premium" option to send to my in-laws for sympathy flowers. Not only did they come by extremely small for $100 (incl delivery fee). The entire vase was babies breath and the flowers were wilted. I'd rather have gone to Kroger and made my own arrangement (for 1/4th the price no less) than pay for the monstrosity that I saw. It was embarrassing and a complete waste of money. Ordered flowers on 2/9 for VDay delivery and after contacting store twice I got update that they are showing up around 5pm on 2/14. This is why I hate buying over priced flowers and hoping they show up. If store is over whelmed, then hire more drivers for the day. Been there done that when I was in school. read more

Not only did they make a lovely arrangement, they delivered it to the funeral home in time for the viewing. Now, I am hard to please and can be extensively critical but everyone was asking who did the flowers as they thought I had hired someone out of the Woodlands. Best florist in Huntsville, hands down! I use them to send flowers to family in town all the time. They are kind, honest, and make the most beautiful arrangements!! Houston Prices with a small town mentality Upon planning the funeral for my father, our funeral home suggested this florist. Having great respect for the people at Sam Houston Funeral Home we decided to forego any research and use this florist. My parents are are not people of excess and did not wish for a lavish arrangement. So we placed our order a few days before my fathers death in hopes that it would expedite the process and assure us one less thing to worry about, I was mistaken. Upon Calling the florist the day after his death, we were told that the colors we had selected would not be available. With only a few days until the funeral we had little choice but to leave it in their hands. Being that the funeral is tomorrow I can not say whether the finished product is satisfactory, only that the service is lacking considerably. I wish that I could say that this was my only issue but it is not. I do know of two instances in fact where people have attempted to send condolence bouquets only to be turned away for lack of stock. Virtually being the only game in town does not give you the right to be inconsiderate and unprofessional. The Flower business is a business but it is a business of great emotion. People will receive this products on days filled with incredible joy and utter sorrow. In the future I would hope that they will strive to remember that they are indeed more then just brick and mortar, they are for how ever short a time, the messengers of love. read more

My son ordered a dozen roses for Valentine's on the 8th of February for his girlfriend. We wanted to get an idea of what they would look like so we looked on line.
