After the car was returned I got a bill for 26,400, the residual value of my car. When I called they told me to ignore it. Now 10 months later I see my credit score dropped 91 points and I look to see that Beth Page without sending me a bill or notice put a $450 collection on my credit report. I called, they said it was the return fee for the Honda and they would take it off my report when I paid it and put in a dispute that a bill was never sent. I paid the $450 and it is still on my credit report. I called and am getting nowhere with the representative telling me they sent me a bill in May, which I never received and also telling me they are not obligated to send another bill. I never heard of such incompetence. After making 39 on time payments, never late with any other bills or payments, I should get the benefit of the doubt. Terrible company. It's no surprise they have a 2.4 star rating. Go somewhere else to finance your vehicle.

After having been told several different self-contradictory promises of service over an hour of waiting, the assistant manager (a light-haired woman with a Slavic accent and a name something like "Cristina Sicic") was disrespectful and condescending. She explained before she would deign to take my money, there would be several questions about where the money came from and there would be documentary evidence required. I explained that I had been depositing cash in this account for 5 years and no evidence had ever been required, that branch manager Diego Dunker knows me, and the source of the funds were the same as they had always been, my business. She then looked me up and down appraisingly and asked dismissively "what kind of business do YOU even have?" I told her it was a dental practice, and she again looked hard at me and asked incredulously "YOU are a dentist?" That moment was the first time I realized I had my jacket covering my scrubs, and that if the multiple Google reviews complaining of racism being a problem in customer interactions at this store are to be credited, there was mercifully at least a chance that something other than sheer sloth might be why she preferred pointlessly hectoring me over doing her job. She then told me she would not fulfill any aspect of the services her staff had promised she would do that day, that my appointment I had been given to work with her the next day would not be honored, and that I should take my deposit elsewhere and that anyone could close any account at any time. This is after 5 years of holding my business account here and servicing a 1.5million dollar loan with this branch that contractually obligates me to do the majority of my banking with here. Truly unbelievable. I would've appealed to store manager Diego Dunker next, but he does nothing but smile and make empty promises, and blames your frustrations on your not having spent your whole day trying to contact him every time his staff wastes your time, never mind the fact that he never responds to customer emails, and in 5 years of calling this branch, no one has ever once answered the phone when I call. Tellers have been there for many years, managment has remained mostly constant and my safety box behind the enormous gated safe has never been robbed. With over 400 zombie banks going belly up since the 2008 crisis, I feel very comfortable knowing Maspeth isn't in any sort of peril. Every year Maspeth erects large tarps to cover the parking lot area and hold a live music venue for a few hours. Cashed in a few EE bonds that had reached maturity, management was most personable working the boxes in the back. This for the atm…read more. I've never encountered anything wrong with the machines. They updated it to dispense different denominations for the bills *finally* which I appreciated. It was quick and easy and there are always many available. As for the shadiness on sutphin, I would use the atm inside the bank around employees if making a big withdrawal or doing anything with cash going from your bag to the machine.. I've had a few uncomfortable interactions with other patrons and felt uneasy and ended up leaving before I could withdraw. Just watch your surroundings. I see why many rather withdraw with a teller here rather than ATM.
