I am very disappointed with the way Walgreens handled my father's prescription. The reason given had nothing to do with medical safety or legality, but rather personal feelings. A pharmacy's role is to follow the law and ensure patients have access to their prescribed medications, not to let personal biases or emotions get in the way of patient care. This situation caused unnecessary stress and delay in my father receiving the medication he needs. Patients should be able to trust that their prescriptions will be filled as written by their doctors, especially when state law is clear on the matter. Walgreens needs to remember that pharmacy services are about patient health first, not personal disagreements.

So here is this sad little plaza with almost nothing remaining open and these guys are trying to hang on. To make matters worse, three of the big national chains are tenths of a mile away. You walk in and it's very depressing. Lots of the shelves are literally bare. It's right on the edge of clean to dirty. Unless you are desperate, most people would open the door, take one look and go elsewhere and going elsewhere is my suggestion to you. I'm going to keep an eye on these folks. Why you ask? There are rumors that a new anchor store is eyeing this plaza and the transformation can be dramatic when that happens. I hope they make it.
