Their car park is ridiculous as there are very few spaces and it's very difficult to turn round in. It's right across Birmingham for us to get to but they have never offered a courtesy car when the car has gone in for service. The stereo system started playing up along with numerous other things and the car went back in the garage to be fixed, except they told us it was fixed and it wasn't till we got halfway back across Birmingham that we realised they not fixed anything at all! It has cost us a lot in petrol tooing and froing to he garage and they haven't once given us an apology. We won't be taking the car back to that garage and wouldn't buy another car from it.

We haven't had any dealings with used cars, so I wouldn't know how they compare, but if you have an issue with them, make a formal complaint. Citroen Birmingham is an island site, making customer parking minmal, so ask sales for the best time to go, or make an appointment. We have never had a problem in that respect, otherwise they may not have had our business for so long. We would recommend Citroen Birmingham, but know yor budget, and you can negotiate the best deal for you.

All aspects of the service were explained to me, and I was asked whether any additional work needed to be brought to their attention. A confirmation email was received following my booking. The excellent 5 star customer service continued when it came to the day of the service. A phone call was made to me to inform me of the additional work that needed to be carried out, asking for my permission for this to be done after dropping my car off. They then telephoned me to let me know my car was ready for collection. When it came to collecting my car a breakdown of the work carried out was given, including future work that required to be carried out was explained to me fully. A visual health check document was given, so I could clearly identify what work and checks had been done on the car. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this garage again, and would recommend to friends and family.

Dealer called BSM in Lichfield to get the codes for computer as I didn't have the service book with me, we were told it was not possible to get them from my file as it would take too long! Girl on phone was rude and abrupt. Then ended up speaking to sales manager as service manager was out, only to be told he could do nothing and stated that I had not purchased the car from them. Ended up being recovered from Hull. As I had been a customer for the last 5-6 years (my car and my wifes) I found this level of "service" unacceptable, and they have now lost a customer

However when i picked by car up there were a number of problems with it - fuse gone so i had no windscreen wipers/ air conditioning etc, there were bits of glass everywhere suggesting a smashed window (i had payed for valeting) and the bumper at the front right side fell off after only driving for a few miles to Birmingham. Took a long time to get them to fix these problems (at least two weeks) and they were not particularly helpful. Generally good cars but very disappointing after service.

They cleared down the fault, and ask me to montior any changes whilst driving. I asked how much this would be for doing the diagnostics, and they nothing. As it was due for a service I booked it in, and as the car had the Jaguar Allegiance card, I also got a discount on the service price. When I went to drive my car away, I noticed that they had done a complete valet insdie and out. Very impressed. Definitiely recommend.

They specialise in used cars and although at many used car dealerships you would expect to find a load of clapped out old bangers, there is a surprisingly good selection of cars on offer. They seem to have good honest staff which, as such, allows the customer to feel confidence in their purchase, after all buying a car is not a decision to be taken without due consideration. They also offer things like part exchange or an MOT service, so a trip here gives you more than one option and with the offer of finance it may make a car you thought unaffordable achievable after all!

If they take the car in for the morning, it will be done in the morning and they don't try and charge you for added extras that you don't need. They also send you a reminder letter when your next service is due plus a text if you give them a mobile number. We also wen into see about a part exchange for a new car. The salesman was chatty and friendly and we were seen to straight away. He didn't offer a very good deal but could probably have been pulled down if we'd decided to go ahead with the deal. They always have plenty of cars both new and second hand on the forecourt to look at. These are reasonably priced.

I have just gone back to buy my new car from Solihull after switching to Redditch 2 1/2 years ago…read morewhen they offered me a good deal, I would say that after the total lack of customer support that I received from Redditch it was lovely to go back to a Garage that listened to my requirements for the car and then provided me with all the options I liked the fact , that there was straight talking from my the sales guy mixed with banter and fun and we went through what I could get for the price I could afford and they then went on to exceed my exceptions in that the car I have just picked up is quite simply wonderful, I have gone from cheap looking to class that you expect from VW . The staff at solihull are friendly and polite at all times and make you feel very welcome and I know when it is time for my service that I can have a chat with them and this will make the experience very relaxing ,. It was a joy to go back to a garage that just got it , would definitely recommend that to anyone WELL DONE ALL
