So don't be discouraged when you pass the Target -- this small store is there. We bought a few bags of yogurt-covered pretzels, candy, salsa, sesame sticks and pasta. And the prices were great, with most of these around $2 each. The shop is a bit of a tourist target, with mini golf (seriously). Is this store authentic? It seemed to have items made by Amish families, but the staff did not appear to be Amish. But like us, you may be able to find some fun treats. The staff was kind, courteous and helpful. Because my husband and I will likely take this route again in the future to see family, we made a mental note to stop by again.

The store did not always have my preferred colors or sizes in stock, but I did find three tops and one gift bag to buy. The cashier performed her job OK. I appreciate that she applied a 15% coupon and used part of my merchandise-credit card. Please note that this Kohl's contains a Sephora cosmetics store and also accepts Amazon returns.

The kitchen has been a pleasure to cook in and was featured in a NY newspaper article on renovations. More recently she helped with the selection of new furniture including a custom couch and reading chair that harmonize with existing pieces. I love sitting in that chair! This particular Gabe's store is located in Northgate Plaza shopping center. Examples of its merchandise are clothes, shoes, handbags, suitcases, bedding, pet supplies, children's toys, kitchenware, home decor, packaged foods, beverages, couches, etcetera. As I walked around the store, I noticed that the racks and shelves were full of miscellaneous products through which customers really had to sift. For example, clothing had varied styles and mixed sizes. I almost purchased a pair of Calvin Klein jeans for only $17, but then I noticed that the threads on the logo had several imperfections. I also saw some nice t-shirts that cost only a few dollars each, but the store had either torn or blacked out the brand names on the tags. In the end, I ended up buying nothing. Nonetheless, I will give this store a neutral rating. I think that people who are on a budget can find good bargains here.
