The combination of a messed up back and shoulders from years of sitting hunched over a computer at work and convincing from my friend led me to Serenity Spa. It can be a little confusing to find if you aren't familiar with the area - the location at the Crafts Inn is downstairs by the pool. You have the option of also purchasing a day pass to use the pool/sauna at the inn, we didn't use that option but it is available. It was very quiet and peaceful down there on the day we went. Abby said it is usually pretty quiet, despite being by the pool. The massage room is very thoughtfully decorated and has lots of soft lighting. Very relaxing. There were several options for type of massage as well as add ons, I went with deep tissue massage with hot stones added on and asked for focus on head/neck/back. Abby seemed very open to tailoring the massage to the clients specific needs and comfort level, which I appreciated. I was pretty nervous and didn't know what to expect, but I was beyond pleasantly surprised. Abby made me feel extremely comfortable, and the massage was great. Fastest hour of my life.
