Juan clearly stated each modules objective, enhanced the training with relevant examples and posed thought provoking questions to encourage discussion/interaction. He demonstrated techniques using various training aids prior to attendees performing return demonstrations. Juan was really good at monitoring the group/individual exercise/activity using effective non intimidating intervention. The pace of the class was not too fast or slow. I arrived at 12:04, (started at 12) the doors were locked and 3 of the 8 people arrived late for various reasons. (One person drove 1.5 hours to get there). We were not allowed permission to enter the class. We rang the doorbell and banged on the doors for an hour. There was no note on the door, no phone number to call, and no one came to talk to us. Someone should have come out to tell us that the first five minutes are vital and we needed to go home and reschedule. For people involved in the helping business, they are not very helpful. I will not donate to ARC and I will forever go to the AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION for CPR renewal from now on.
