At 6 pm, I met @photographybyheatherk Heather for a photoshoot. She is creative and will bring your vision to fruition for your special day. I wanted something special for my boyfriend that passed away. She incorporated his spirit with my pics from the ballet (we went together). Heather was able to capture my glow for Frederic with a transparent pic of him. It was absolutely stunning and hanging up in my home. It looks like a wedding picture. We both love it! Heather is an absolute wonder, both in front of the lens and behind it. She's been taking my family's portraits for almost 10 years. Her eye is phenomenal. She is wonderful with my little ones too - she knows what to do to get their attention. Sometimes I walk away (after the shoot) thinking "how could she get a good shot...the baby was so distracted" - but EVERY SINGLE TIME she gets so many fabulous shots...I have such a hard time picking. Heather was recommended to us by a photographer we have worked with in the past (who didn't have any availability for baby photos till July). I contacted Heather via her website and was pleasantly surprised by her quick response to set up an appointment. Unfortunately communication delays occurred thereafter and initial date to have photos taken did not transpire. Alternate dates were suggested and I agreed. She brought her equipment to our house, and gave us a lot of options for backgrounds and things to wrap the little dude in. I can't say enough good things about Heather's photography. I have used for many shoots over the years- from Valentine's Day mini sessions & back to school photos to a boudoir shoot for my husband. She is always professional & works well in all situations. This year for my daughter's back to school pics she was being a bit of a brat & not cooperating at all, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got the photos back & had so many beautiful shots to choose from. I participated in a Facebook contest with Heather K. Photography and won a free photoshoot! It was such a great experience! From the very beginning, Heather was professional and soo nice. We booked a date, and she suggested what time would be good with the lighting. I chose a park, because I like outdoor photos. We held the shoot at Sonata Park in Anthem, and the pictures of my family turned our GORGEOUS! They have these awesome tunnels that Heather knew about, and the lighting was perfect. I couldn't be any happier with my pictures. I have three kids, and Heather was so accommodating and fast! For me, that is perfect, because the kids get antsy!
