The Edge offered newly renovated units with very nice amenities, honestly, it was like moving into a hotel! Management made me feel comfortable and the leasing process was easy; Barb is in charge of leasing, she listened to what I needed and found me a quiet unit. I originally moved into a one bedroom, however, a year later, when I needed more room, Barb found me a larger newly renovated unit. If you're going to check out The Edge, talk to Barb for sure. Working from home during COVID was fine here. The pool was available by registration only, which was not a problem. Neighbors are very friendly too. The grounds are kept clean, there are a couple of dog runs and the club house is gorgeous! (It closed during COVID but I think it reopened recently.) Anytime there was an issue, Maintenance was on it ASAP; Dave takes care of much of the maintenance and he is great. If you are looking for a great apartment complex, check out The Edge, talk with Barb in leasing and I think you will like it here.

The maintenance lead Dave is awesome and is on top of things. He is so helpful and kind and your problems (if any) are his and he will fix things ASAP. You so adamantly defending her in the reviews only shows that you have no idea how she acts on a day to day basis with tenants OR this is actually you, Karen, replying to reviews. There's a way to explain and educate someone on the terms of their lease that neither include belittling the tenant OR coping an attitude bc the person has more questions. Clearly she needs retrained if she can't even execute basic human decency when speaking to her tenants. Hope this helps!

Then, over the weekend there was a leak in a pipe in the wall that has came out into our carpets. Our carpets have been pulled up and our kitchen will be getting torn apart. Not only have we been told we should stay here in the home with a 3 year old, 9 month old and a baby on the way, but the property manager down played our feelings, repeatedly called me hun, screamed on the phone and said it is my job as a mother/tenant to keep my children away from the dangers of the construction. We have had to relocate during this, but are still required to pay the full months rent and receive absolutely no compensation. Please do NOT allow yourself to be in this position. We should all feel like our needs and our families needs are a top priority when spending top dollar in rent.

And if you leave a message, they absolutely will NOT return it. Red Flag #2: When we have maintenance issues they don't return our call, they just send someone (maybe) without notice. Red Flag #3: A light post outside our door fell over during an ice storm in February. It had wires sticking out of it, and was not removed for four months. FOUR. MONTHS. Red Flag #4: Snow removal is awful. It took several days for them to send someone over to shovel the sidewalks after a storm the entire Northeast knew was coming. Red Flag #5: This one is the worst. It takes them five to seven days to process rent payments. We accidentally mistyped our new bank account number and it took them EIGHT DAYS to notify us that the payment didn't go through. It seemed normal at first since it always takes them forever to process the payments, but the next thing we know we have an eviction notice and late fees. And now, STILL no one will call us back. We have left voicemails for the regional manager and the complex manager and neither of them have returned our calls. Other things to note: 1. While there is a dryer in the unit, it's very small and takes two hours to dry a small load. Plus, it blows the air out into the apartment rather than outside like a normal one, so the bathroom gets all steamy and moldy. Had to put a fan in there. 2. No extra storage space. 3. Kitchen has hardly any counter space. 4. The heater and AC are very loud. It sounds like a DC-9 taking off. Too bad we didn't have much time or options to search for an apartment in this area, as we moved here for a new job! Definitely would not have selected this place if I had known. BEWARE.

The buildings are quiet; I honestly don't hear any of my neighbors. The complex is kept clean and the units are pretty spacious. As for neighbors, all that I've met have been very pleasant. Additionally, the biggest pro is probably the location. It truly can't beat. If you're willing to pass on a few bells and whistles, the complex truly is a great find.

At the time of her slip and fall none of the walkways were shoveled, the snow just began to accumulate on the ground so it was not shoveled or salted yet. About 2 hours passed I went back outside to get my grand daughters toy out of the car and noticed they must have received my call because they came by and the walk way was cleared and salt was down. Monday came and gone, mind you I have a lot of health issues and with the cold damp weather my COPD, diabetes neuropathy, and my arthritis is very bad those of you who have these issues will truly understand and with 2 deaths of people I knew passed away all in the same week so I kept telling my daughter she needed to follow up with the front desk and she didn't. I placed another call to the office the following Monday. Somehow in the middle of the call right about 5:59 pm we get disconnected. I attempted to call back twice, no answer but the front desk closes at 6pm, how convenient. My daughters fiance and I drove to the office, lights out door locked. It's now Thursday and all I hear is crickets. I hope I catch my neighbor outside because he has the door camera and I want to see if he has it saved I don't understand why all this trouble. She slipped and fell, and she is very sore still. I am hoping she is okay. Since all this happened I put in 2 maintenance calls for my toilet and no one has addressed that or returned my call either. I can see if we are troubled tennants but we aren't, we never missed rent always pay in advance, never cause trouble. So if considering moving here just keep that in mind. All I know is once our lease is up we won't be back here again. Frustrated tenant.
