Steve Hill worked with my schedule, got a lease quickly together, and communicated with me prior to move-in. He had the entire place repainted and cleaned in two days, and followed up with me the day after move-in to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. THEN, when I discovered a *very* minor issue with the plumbing, rather than saying "deal with it" (which I offered to do), he paid for a fix to be made so that it was done right. Very happy with the decision to rent from Hill Companies, and I'd recommend anyone else do the same.

All windows have been replaced with insulated windows and insulated sliding storm doors. Pool area is well maintained. Nice balcony areas. Maintenance crew is very responsive to requests. New washers and dryers in laundry rooms with individual tenant storage areas. Foyers are kept clean. Security is great as foyer doors are locked at 7pm and unlocked at 7am. Mainly seniors so it's quiet. Water is paid for by the Apartment Owners. Reasonable lease rates. Well landscaped and maintained. Basically the "Best Kept Secret in Roanoke"

Paying $1570 for a gold renovated 2bed that has a broken washer…read moreand dryer, leaking toilet, broken vent in bathroom, slugs coming in through the wall because of the crumbling foundation, live electrical wires from a garbage disposal they never installed, patio door that wouldn't lock, I cab go on and on. If you put in your maintenance requests, they will close them saying they fixed the issue but never even come to see it. Residents are loud and disrespectful and the community is mostly foreign people. The management staff are rude, belittling and unprofessional. This is supposed to be a gated community and they have the gates bungee tied open. Do yourself a favor and don't even consider this nightmare of a place.
