In my opinion, I would highly recommend you DO NOT waste your time or money at this Salon. I went to Heaven Nails & Spa on Feb.2.23 and on April 5.23 for a pedicure and manicure with Grace. The first time I did a french shellac manicure on my feet and hands, the second time I just did white shellac on my feet and hands. Each time the very next day the shellac would start coming off. The first time it happened, I called in and spoke to Phoebe and explained to her that Grace did my nails and I understand she is on vacation but can someone just fix a couple of my nails because the shellac is coming off and this is not normal. Phoebe informed me they were way too busy and didn't have the time to fix my nails. I was a little taken back and shocked by her abrasiveness considering it was her salon that did them poorly in the first place. I was left with no other choice but to go seek a different salon to fix there mistakes. I went to another Salon and paid them and they fixed my nails. Ironically the nails they fixed never peeled off the next day. Regardless of what happened the first time with Grace on Feb.2.23 I decided to give her another chance so I went to her Salon on April 5.23 knowing she was back from vacation. I had Grace give me a pedicure and manicure with white shellac polish. While Grace was doing my nails I explained to her what transpired with my nails after she did them and then went on vacation. I also informed Grace why I had to pay another Salon on Feb 4th to fix my nails. When I was done speaking I looked at her expecting an apology or some sort of empathy regarding the situation but instead I got silence! She just sat that there doing my nails and said nothing....not one apology came out of her mouth. I thought this was rude. So then I proceeded to ask her if she could please add another layer of top coat so the shellac doesn't come off easily like it did last time. She finally looked up at me this time from doing my nails and said "sure but I will charge you $5 extra". I couldn't believe my ears! The audacity of her to want to charge me extra was mind blowing in light of the previous issue regarding my nails and her now having the knowledge that no one from her Salon wanted to fix them while she was on vacation in Vietnam was to much for me to digest. Before Grace started doing my nails, I use to have Phoebe. Each time I have tipped these ladies very generously so hearing her ask for extra money when she knew I incurred additional costs to fix my nails elsewhere was deplorable and greedy. Right then and there I decided I would never come back to their salon because they were taking advantage of there customers. Once Grace finished with my nails I paid and left. I called back to speak to Michael who is the owner and Grace's husband. I explained to him what transpired and why he is loosing me as a customer.....he unlike his wife Grace was very apologetic. The very next day the shellac polish started coming off my nails yet again.....this is unbeilable! I'm thinking this is no longer a coincidence, I think and this is purely just my opinion on the matter......Grace might be diluting the polishes in her salon to get more out of them. The quality is so poor and I believe that might be the reason the shellac is peeling off so easily the very next day each time. I know from Grace that they had to close down one of there other salons so I'm not sure if they're trying to skim where they can to save a buck here and there at there customers expense. To conclude, don't waste your time or money going to a salon run by an owner like Grace who doesn't use good quality polishes and does not care about providing her clients with good customer service. read more
