I've been coming here for over two decades and have always had great service but Mindy definitely made the biggest difference. The reason I went to Toronto is because I've only EVER had bad experiences in Burlington. From having my nail filed completely through, to paying way to much for crappy service and bumpy, thick, uneven nails. Let's just say, I hardly ever got a compliment and usually ended up soaking them off before the two week mark. Now, to the present day: I have these beautiful nails, in a shape I can't seem to get anyone to do properly other than at the place in Toronto (stiletto, mountain peak, almond, etc...) Unfortunately, the nails have grown out and i had about 1cm of growth on each nail. It wasn't attractive but I didn't want o go all the way to Toronto just for a fill. I called a place in burlington that had okay-ish photos on their website..... but when I explained I just wanted a fill and polish change, they said they wouldn't do it and it they'd charge me to remove them and then re-apply a full new set. This is what I didn't want. The shape was what I wanted to keep. Anyways, I live around the corner from Lvy and had seem some advertising so I decided to give it a shot. They looked good now I wanted to see what they could do! Laughs were had and almost immediately as I walked in. I could tell, this is my new nail salon! Not only did the man who did my nails do an incredible job, but he made the shape even somehow BETTER! It was easy and I got exactly what I wanted. No over filing, no over selling, just GREAT customer service and an amazing quality or work. I have already started recommending Lvy to people and it's only been 1 day! Prices are high, 7 yrs a client with Kim only for nails and toes. But now they are playing games…read more If no artificial nails (big bucks) are to be done and you book for Kim to still look after your manicure and painted toes ...you are out of luck. You arrive on time at the appointment to a newbie who will be looking after you, plus many excuses that Kim is completely booked! Sad for Kim to loose me, but then again there must have been some good reason I only let Kim work on me and was willing to pay high for her skill. And more and more of my tenants tell me they have left this shop over a $7.00 polish removal tack on not included in any of their services. Who else does that.
