Contemptible, bold-faced liars are Kristen and Ben. If it weren't traumatic enough that we lost our beloved dog of 12 years just 5 days before Christmas, dealing with Heavenly Paws only intensified our grief. We were told a bold-faced lie, that our dog's ashes would be shipped to us, as we were out of town for the holiday. Nearly two weeks went by with no ashes. Kristen then tried to say she would drop them off to our home. I asked her to ship the ashes so that they would arrive after we returned home from our holiday travel. While we were back home trying to visit with our loved ones that we rarely see, Kristen blew up my phone with repeated calls, although I made it clear I was unavailable and that she needed to make good on her commitment to ship our dog's ashes. I finally filed a complaint with consumer protection, since we paid for the ashes but never received them. The next day, I received a call from the emergency animal hospital letting me know the dog's ashes were at their facility for pick up. Instead of having the time to grieve our loss, we were busy fighting to get our dog's ashes back. read more

All I can say is that Ben Robbins of Heavenly Paws Pet Crematory is a great business owner and also a very compassionate human being. We called him in the am today when we had to have Dr Chang come out to euthanize our loving dog. Ben agreed not only to come out today but arrange his scheduled time for us along with Dr Chang's schedule. They worked so well together to help us. He came out and treated our dog with the dignity she deserved. He was kind courteous and efficient. He picked up our girl with care and he will have her engraved urn done in two days. His slogan is "respect our Best Friends deserve". How true that is. He was so respectful and provides a great service to all of us pet owners in their time of need. All I can say is Thank you. My Great Dane died in my home in the morning. I called at around 7:15 am and left a message on the answering machine. Ben called me back within 15 minutes and arrived within 1 hour. He wrapped my dog in a blanket and gently picked him up and carried him out. He was so kind and caring as if my dog was his own. He came back 2 days later with my dog in a beautiful wooden box with a gold plate with his name on it , a card with his paw print and a lock of hair. I wish when I died I could get cremated there. Our beloved boxer passed away suddenly yesterday and after hearing so many great things about Heavenly Paws, we called them right away for their cremation services. After a couple of calls and voice mails, we received no response. We continued to call throughout the night and into the morning, only for the calls to go straight to voicemail as if the company's phone had been shut off. After more calls, Facebook messages and texts, we finally got a short text that told us they were overbooked and could not accommodate us. So, after multiple attempts at contact and waiting for over 16+ hours with out poor, dead dog lying in the garage we were told they could not help us. A simple phone call, text or even a changed voicemail message to communicate this would have avoided all this heartache and frustration for us. We are now scrambling to find another option to take care of our furry family member whose body is lying cold and alone in our garage. I understand that a small business can become overwhelmed with customers at busy times but this could have been handled much better. The professional and compassionate thing to do would have been to notify us quickly of your inability to help us so we could look elsewhere but no, you just shut us out and dismissed us with a cold text. A referral to another service would have been appreciated. Maybe having some extra help on hand for busy times like this would be a positive choice to make for your business? I will NEVER attempt to do business with Heavenly Paws again and I have already told all of my local family and friends with pets about the terrible experience we just had. We were so disappointed because this company came so highly recommended by our vet and was well reviewed online. I suppose for Heavenly Paws, when it's too busy, the loving care for pets they claim to have goes out the window. Very disappointed! read more

My Boxer passed away yesterday 1.21.16 and I called the phone number 843-340-2087 numerous times at least 10 times. The first time I left a voice mail with my info. Each time I called it when to voice mail almost immediately. I had been referred and was told they were the best which is why I was trying to choose them. I had no luck getting anyone to contact me. So I went to Facebook trying to reach someone thinking they just might have phone problems. Because I hadn't even got a call back. I messaged the Company on facebook this morning 12+ hours after my wiggly butt boxer passed away. To finally get this response "I'm sorry we could not get back with you. We are extremely busy & overbooked right now. Our condolences for your loss. Ben" which is all good if it wasn't for my baby laying in the garage for 12 +hrs. You mean to tell me no one could have got back to me sooner so I could have figured out something else?! This is no way to treat Customers under these circumstances. I will never, Never use or try and get a hold of this company again! Very unprofessional especially under the circumstances. This could have all been resolved and handled better if they would have contacted me back to let me know they couldn't do anything for my baby. If you can't handle the business and at least acknowledge a customer then you should do another type of business.
