You had to pre buy your wine tasting before entering the tasting room, however tasting was only $6 so not bad. We got to taste 5 wines and there were a lot of choices for white wine. We tasted a few that we liked and we all left with 2 bottles a piece. The young man who did our tasting was great and told us a lot about the wine. The lady who cashed us out was wonderful, friendly and told us about their wine points and we got $5 off our purchase for signing up. Great wine, just a bit busy and touristy for me.

Two years ago, I bough their rose but this time I bought the 2022 Pinot Meunier ($24 including tax and bottle deposit). Terry also suggested another local small family winery for their Gamay Noir - which we also loved. Thornhaven's settling is beautiful with rows and rows of vines and peaks of the Okanagan Lake and hilltops. Buying a bottle or glass of wine and you can bring in our own picnic to enjoy on the patio or the Adirondack chairs.

My family was really excited to come here as majority of them was their first time here. 100% would NEVER come here again. Our pourer was very sweet and friendly. - 2021 Muscat ottonel - this was unique. - 2021 Solstice - a blend of four white wine grape. - 2021 Kerner - 2021 Riesling - our favourite from the wines we tasted. The "sweetest" of the bunch. Riesling was well balanced and crisp. - 2021 Rosé - notes of strawberry and cream. They use pinot noir grapes for their rosé. - 2021 Moscato frizzante - the bubbly version of their muscat ottonel. All their white wine offerings are dry and very low in sugar. I had the prosciutto with a side of bread and it was to die for. We also tried the pasta and ciabatta sandwich. All was great and you could really taste the freshness of the ingredients. They even grow their food right on site. For dessert we had the lemon tart and espresso ice cream. The lemon tart was the star of the show, not too tart not too sweet. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive and helpful. There was even a little dog going around to greet the customers!! One thing to note is that they do not take reservations, so I would recommend getting there early to ensure a table. Overall great experience and I can't wait to come back.
