We ended up here when our truck blew the engine. As frustrating as that experience was, we couldn't have landed in a better place! This is a great park in the beautiful White Mountain area! The workers and full-timers were wonderful! The grounds are well-maintained, easy to navigate, and the clubhouse offers a homey inviting respite with a laundry room, welcoming sitting area w/tv, dining table, kitchenette, pool and poker tables, and a lending library. We frequented the dog park regularly. We were without transportation for a month, but our neighbors and new friends took good care of us. We feel blessed to have experienced living here for a month! read more

We travel a lot during the summer. We stayed here to work the Heber Oktoberfest. I was a little hesitant to book here because there wasn't a lot of information available. But I am so glad I did. The park is laid out for big rigs! Easy in and out. You can tell they put money in the right places: electric, water, sewer are in the perfect places. The owners are so helpful and accommodating. They have happy hour where you can get to know the other campers. What great place! Don't waste you time in the other parks. This is the only one you need! We'll be back. read more

Made a reservation and they didn't even ask if we had a Good Sam's card. Called them back and they said they couldn't give a discount after it had been charged. We asked that it be canceled and reenteted. They said that if they cancel, we wouldn't get any money back. We never got an email because they didn't have that right. After this stay, we won't go back there! read more

If I was someone looking for an RV spot I would definitely pass this place up we pulled in on Sunday 6/24/18 my boyfriend spoke to an older guy inquiring about a spot and he was very rude and lacked customer service skills. read more

Managers Bob and Lisa were next door to us really enjoyed talking with them and observed they really are available to help anyone that needs it, would definitely stay there again. I wish they had a pool and there was a little road noise but overall not to bad a place. Also nice pet play area that they clean daily. The park is clean and appears well maintained. The wi-fi is excellent.The two hosts at check-in were pleasant. One took us to our site and tried to help us back in. My wife had to take over. I was impressed by the amount of rules and regulations that we were required to agree to. Apparently the owners have had bad experiences before (or perhaps they are lawyers). They will not refund money if cancellations become necessary. We were in a site near SR 277. This road has heavy traffic, both cars and trucks all day and all night. The noise was very loud. If you can sleep through the noise and don't mind signing away all of your rights, this is a nice park. read more

Excellent WiFi, no OTA TV & no cable, clean, but limited restrooms/showers. Would've been a wonderful stay were it not for this: Camp host INSISTS on assisting in parking your rig. We are experts and have our own process. He claimed to be watching out for all obstacles, but was clearly only interested in park property (power pole on wrong side, sewer drain beside picnic table on patio side!) Again, INSISTED that we pull our 34' Airstream around for a pull-through entry - we could've easily backed in. The camp host paid no attention to our rig pulling around the shower house. As a result, the right-rear end cap of our trailer inadvertently clipped the corner of there shower house! This caused about $3,000 worth of damage to our rig. They did NOT offer to comp. our stay due to the staff's clear incompetence. In fact, the manager referred me to a clause in their "contract" stating that 1) Park staff MUST assist in parking your rig and in the very next sentence 2) Owner is responsible for any damage to their property AND/OR the park property! Sorry, but you can't have it both ways. Fortunately (for them), they agreed not to bill me for the damage to their property. I would've made the trip back to their local small claims court had they tried. Hard lesson learned: If an RV park demands they assist in parking your rig, basically ignore them. You must be responsible for your property. read more

Love this place!! We had a reservation at another place near by and they couldn't accommodate our rig, called this place and Lisa had a spot for us. They are super friendly and they help you back your rig in. Even though we are pros at this, it was a good chat and nice to know they are looking out for their park. The WiFi is strong and reliable, no OTA or cable TV, but streaming is great and who doesn't have a backup plan. Park is clean and quiet. The bathrooms in the main area are super nice, feels like home, all tile with heated floors. The whole park is crushed gravel which is tough if you are on a motorcycle, but a SBS or a vehicle, no problem. read more

This is a very quiet and very clean RV park. The amenities are good and just what you need. The clubhouse is nice and clean. The various activities are very tasteful and nicely done. The staff are great to interact with. The setting can't be beat. read more

STAY AWAY FROM THIS RV RESORT (funny its a dump). This is what The Heber RV Resort did to us. We called a made a reservation to stay for a month and during the conversation with the employee on the phone my husband asked about the cancellation policy and was told there would be a $50 charge but that could be used toward a stay in the future. A week later my husband's mother died and we had to fly to Indiana to plan and take care of her funeral. We called the Heber RV Resort and told them we had to cancel and why and they basically said sorry about your luck and had already charged our credit card for over $800. My husband asked to speak with the manager and this lady for terrible to my husband who was grieving because his mother just passed away and would not refund our money. How heartless can the owner be to do this to us, shame on them. We disputed it with our credit card company and they tried but had no luck saying we knew the cancellation policy which was not true. Really come on we have been full time RVing for two years and this has never happened to us before. The owner of this park should be ashamed of himself for treating us this way. We had to cancel three other reservations and none of those Campgrounds gave us any problems at all. Even saying we are so sorry for your lose. When your in Arizona and have to fly to Indiana due to a death your life suddenly changes and this park does seem to care about RVers. Stay away from this park they are terrible awful people and I believe in karma so I am sure that they will in return lose guests because I am going to tell everyone I know about what they did to us. SHAME on the owner of this park. I know he owns several other parks and I will never stay at any of them. I sent him a detailed letter explaining our reason for cancelling and of course nothing back from him or the manager. Sad that anyone would steal $800 plus dollars and just say I don't care your Mother died. I give this RV park a minus -100 rating. read more

This is one of the nicest RV parks we have been to in a long time. Full hookups, large sites, dog "play park" with filled doggie toy box. The club house is huge and beautiful with reading areas, TV, showers, restrooms, active card games and a huge outdoor eating area used for the cookouts The park is immaculate and staff is friendly and very helpful. Offers plenty of info on local attractions. WiFi available and park is ATV and Side by Side friendly. read more

The park is in a general state of decline. No significant improvements have been made for years and maintenance appears slip-shod. Do not stay in sites 12-24. Besides the road noise and lousy grade, these sites are all 30 amp but have 50 amp outlets (that's also the case for sites 1-5). That's right! Even if you keep your current draw below 30 amps, your neighbor might not leading to very low line voltages. If you plan on staying in a site between 1 and 30, be prepared - the electric and water outlets are on the wrong side requiring extra long water hoses and power cords and some septic connections are greater than thirty feet. Don't expect much in the way of internet, especially during the summer weekends. What little bandwidth is available is generally used by people trying to watch movies on Netflix, etc. The clubhouse is nothing of note. It's generally not heated and has no A/C so expect it to get hot in the summer. There isn't enough room for the size of pool table installed. It's also closed for much of the year (Oct-Apr). The "park" noted on the site map is a sand horseshoe pit surrounded by weeds. Beware of the park rules - especially as they pertain to pets (must be kept on a leash at all times, no leash over 6', retractable leashes not allowed, etc.). People say any infraction will likely result in an attempt at illegal eviction with no refund for the remainder of your stay. Sites 125-133 have a lot of road noise and a nasty grade. Sites 113-134 have a large left-to-right grade. Last year's rate increase was 10%. Remember, over 2 people for your stay (except very young children) incurs additional cost. There are essentially no park community events. If you plan on staying a month or longer, read your meter when you arrive or you may be charged for electricity you didn't use.
