Had a Ford…read moreMotorcraft battery bought from them a couple years ago that is still covered under the 36 month free replacement. It recently failed and tested bad cell. Hauled it the 80 miles to them and parts guy said he can't do anything without a receipt even though he knows darn well it came from there and it shouldn't matter anyway since it's a Ford battery with a nationwide warranty. I would understand if something appeared out of place in addition to not having any receipt, but it even still has the date of manufacture on it which proves it's inside of the warranty period and being a long established customer should help I'd think. It's 2024, people don't carry paper receipts around for their batteries from 2 years ago. I've not been to a business in 15 years that doesn't have every transaction stored under the customer name on their computer anyways. It's sad they were willing to throw away so many years of past and future purchases simply over a battery that's under warranty still. I was just getting ready to buy a new bale bed pickup before year end too. Called the next nearest dealer to me upon leaving the building and they said bring the battery in, no problem to warranty, they would stand behind it. I felt bad for raising my voice upon leaving, but the parts guy couldn't help but make a comment when I turned to walk away with my bad battery (which in their defense I've never had happen with the folks here before.) I think it's maybe time for him to find a different job. What a bunch of nonsense to get out of warranting a battery. All good things must come to an end I suppose and we'll simply be doing business with Ford at a different dealership. Don & Ray Pearce

I decided to take it else where to Sheridan motors for a 2nd opinion and they disagreed on needing a new engine found work needed to be done to the engine which had nothing to do with needing a whole new motor, crazy right? not to mention asking them to cancel my claim since decided to go somewhere else and they took their sweet time 5 days to cancel it . how great. finally I will never go back and do business with them Ever again!!!!

None the less I pulled up to the chevy dealer went to parts and right away this place dropped what they were doin to help me...hmmmm ! small town greetings in a way I guess..the parts guy came out took the vin and did a search on warranty and found out it's still under warranty.....so far I'm blowin away at them helping me right away... Then they asked for the keys put it into the shop and started tests..found a bad hose, put in an over night order for the part and scheduled me in for friday... All free...no charge. :) I'll be here till sunday so that works perfect.... Hardin Chevy you "R O C K" No doubt you beat the big city dealers in all categories in my opinion Keep up the great work ethics

    We are contemplating purchasing an electric car and visited this dealership to test drive the only…read moreavailable EV in town, a KIA EV6. We have not purchased the car as of this writing so my comments only reflect on my experience of the sales staff and managers. This was also our first experience with electric vehicles beyond YouTube, reading internet posts or hearsay. Our sales representative, Shane Scott, was professional and knowledgeable. He had practical experience with the car and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. The three of us took turns test driving the car with his excellent guidance as to the features, upsides and downsides of an electric vehicle. The management and financing team were supremely helpful. I did not feel excessively pressured by anybody there. The terms of the deal were made plain. In all it was a very clean, professional experience at a very nice facility. We still have not as of this writing decided if we are going to buy an electric vehicle, or even an EV6 specifically, but I would not hesitate to do business with this dealership if we decide on this model.

We thene went in to Kia to get our reimbursement of insurance, gap, service insurance and two or three other prepaid items, for the sold vehicle. We have now been waiting FIVE months for the reimbursements, in the five months they have ignored my phone calls, They have changed the contact person and did not notify me. I call one or two times a day, but they do not seem to care, They are absolutely ridiculous, I am now forced to go to the State Department monitoring Auto dealerships to get support. It has been a lot of work and stress to just receive a reimbursement, due back to me by law! They certainly had no problem charging me will over $6000.00 good morning for these items during the purchase.
