While my child was getting by in math, they were not feeling very confident about the material. We originally tried a college student for tutoring and it did not work very well. After asking around we were recommended HEC tutoring by long time friends. Their child used HEC for science and got great results. I contacted HEC and met with Howard Hwang who went over all the curriculum they offer. My child has a very busy extracurricular schedule and they were able accommodate us. My child now feels confident in math and is still getting a good grade. I now know several people who have used HEC tutoring. I sent my son here for SAT math tutoring. His English score was pretty high so he only went here for the math tutoring. The director tutored my son himself. My son told that he learned more in one hour of tutoring with the tutor than 1 month of tutoring at the other SAT tutoring center. He ended up with raising 180 points on his SAT math. I am not sure about their English tutoring but if you need help with SAT math, I highly recommend that you try HEC. read more

I am a student at Hec tutoring and I did private tutoring for SAT English. I started off with a 1430 and have been getting 1540s and above! I definitely recommend this center! This is the best tutoring center my daughter has tried. It has great customer service and very knowlegeable staff. They don't mind spending their time making sure questions are answered. Their experience in the field guided my daughter in picking the best classes to take and when to take them. This helped her focus on what is important and she is doing great because of it.
