Please keep in mind that we are used to large stores like Best Buy and other large electronic stores, so the size didn't phase us much. Like any other store like this, you'll probably have to find someone to help you, but that's really the norm in most large stores whether here or in the U.S. I bought my new cell phone here when mine died (so sad!), and we started our search for a new laptop that I will need in the near future. It's nice to be able to touch, hold, tap laptops to see what feels right. So, I do appreciate the variety for this reason. And with this store in the center and the other in the arena area, I feel like it's easy to get whatever you might need. NOTE TO TRAVELERS: If you have a chip card from the U.S., the machine will not ask for your pin. You will need to go to customer service so they can make a copy of your passport and verify your information.

Also their prices made the other store look like they're way overpriced which they are on some things. I like their thinking out of the box mentality when they said they didn't have what I was looking for but I could do this and this and this and it would do what the thing I was looking for does just in a kind of roundabout way. Regardless, I declined though I still have to say I like their way of thinking. They then referred me to another store who might have what I was looking for. I did buy one thing that I was very pleased to find at half the price of the same item at another store. It was clearly a win.

Many items are hanging on the wall for self service, but most things are retrieved from the staff at Radio Rotor (batteries, cables, converters, tweezers, magnets......) I've only been here a few times and then the 2020 pandemic arrived so everything changed. There was only enough space for one or two people in here at a time As of February 2021, the place is temporarily closed from the strict covid restrictions in The Netherlands, I hope it reopens whenever the restrictions lift.

When I entered, thee guy from the shop immediately came up to me, and asked what I needed. He was very friendly and helpful. He said that they sell new, as well as used computers, and all other kind of appliances. They also offer repair service, and can help you with installing new softwares. I haven't been able to use any of their services, but it is a handy address to know, in my opinion.

If you plan on being in Europe longer than a week then it's best to just get a convertible charger. The shop is very easy to find, it's just across the street from the Central Station. Love that they are in a convenient location but if they would only open a (Mega Apple Store in Amsterdam) like the one in Santa Monica on the promenade. Although they are going through renovation they are still in business.You would never know because they have this weak sign on the ground that is super small. Now this is just a small suggestion.... I was thinking what about creating a better sign and posting it on the window that you are going through renovation and still operating business in the shop? Found both items for 20 euros each! Want to give a shout-out to my wonderful sales person Ruud who was very patient, gave excellent advice and helped me out. Basically BCC has a house brand of small electronics, which is really cheap and comes with a guarantee of two- three years replacement, free of charge depending on what kind of electronics you're buying.
