Upon my arrival the very first thing that caught my attention were the beautiful red Begonias! I've never seen that many together in one place! It was quite striking! The nice guy who waited on me carried the potting soil that I had bought all the way to the end of the parking lot and put the bag in my floor board! I offered to pull my car closer to the loading zone but this nice man told me that was unnecessary and that he didn't mind at all! While I was in a brief conversation with the person who took care of me I was informed that business there was really good and that they were doing expansion! Pallets of different colored mulch ( rubber and wood ) line the side street of their property and there is no shortage here.They have stone paving bricks, bags of gravel and river rocks of assorted colors and sizes. Inside the garden center is everything that a homeowner would need and mostly in stock. Too much here to describe in detail! I do purchase my seven dust and liquid insecticide here. On the negative side ; it can be difficult to find a cashier to check you out. When you do locate one they are most friendly and helpful! The potting soil here is on the expensive side! I'm such a stickler for beauty in nature, it always amazes me of how much of an amazing artist God…read moreis. With school starting soon I decided to take a small road trip to SC with my handsome now 8yr old son, I promised to take him to a botanical garden and decided on this place. I'm so happy we came here, the drive wasn't that bad and with us being new to the Carolinas it was nice to take the scenic route and take in all the beauty! When we arrived we immediately followed the path and got lost in the beauty and wonder of this garden. The ponds filled with life, the creeks, waterfalls, plants and trees, they had a memorial garden dedicated to those that serve/served, it was all so lovely. Gorgeous walking paths that make you feel like you are in an enchanted forest. Words and photos can not express the beauty this place holds. I can't wait to come here during the springtime. I think we'll add this to our list of places to go for walks and even picnics. It was really hot when we went, so I'd love to come during the fall or when it's cooler to just stay a while longer and really take in every inch of this place. I hope I did good at capturing at least a fraction of the beauty!
