I am a longtime customer. This is the second time it has happened and I'm never going to return. I gave instructions allowed in front of the manager, to only do only lip and chin waxing on my 16 year old daughter . The lady took it upon herself to do a full face when I left the main lobby to do a body wax service. My daughter asked her not to do her cheek area and she told her " your face will look bad." She told her that it would break her out into welts and hives like it did before and she disregarded. Her face is damaged and scarred because she wouldn't listen. I had a discussion with the manager who tried to charge me for a full face, even though I did not ask for it. They are aggressive and uncaring. Please do not go here. The body wax lady is the best. Don't ever EVER come here for henna! They use artificial colors and chemicals. I felt weird color when the girl applied the henna and it had a very bad chemically smell. I have been going to Heena Salon for almost a year now and I have never gotten my eyebrows threaded and been dissatisfied. They do a great job and the cost is highly affordable. Saturday are extremely busy so I would suggest going right when they open if you are on a schedule. If you can get past there Wednesday-Friday I've found you can normally walk in and get service immediately or within 5 minutes. I mainly use the ladies stationed on the right side as I like all their work. Cash is better at this location than using a card if you want to pay the least. On January 18 2023, I entered the salon and asked for eyebrow services for my minor daughter and I. I Cleary stated that I would be tinting and threading and my daughter would be getting threading only. There was a sign outside that says threading $4 and tinting $10. My services would been $14 and my daughter's should have been $4. Total $18. My services started the same time as my daughter's. The entire time I'm getting services the tech is talking to me...trying to sell me other service that I constantly decline. She touched my lips, nose and neck with her back hand. These areas were not being serviced. When I finish...my daughter was done and sitting at the front. I head to the desk to pay and hand the "owner" my card...she says $15 and $15...that will be $30. Confused, I say $30 for what...she say my daughter got the tinting...I remind her that she was only supposed to get threading. She claims my daughter came back to the desk and asked for threading. My daughter and her friend deny this claim. I say to her...we don't ask for that service...remind you...my daughter sat in the chair at the same time as me and was done before. When would she have had time to request additional services and furthermore. My does prefer dark eyebrows so that not a service she would have requests. Additionally, they were not aware of any allergies my child may have had before they decide to perform that service with my request nor permission. I tried to be civil wand discuss with her. I come here for the convenience -- and because I always have credit after going there once (they charge a $10 minimum on your card, but it's $4 for eyebrows). * This is strictly a review of the Heena Salon location between the Alamo movie theater and Haystack burgers (TJ Maxx plaza)* usually go there to get eyebrows threading, in which is inexpensive, quick and since I'm on that side of town, why not? However, due to my previous promise to the technician, I decided to try eyelash extensions. What a HORRIBLE experience!!! ALL of them came off the next day! I took pictures (with the date stamp) of the eyelashes that fell off, the current condition of my eyelashes and also a copy of the receipt (indicting the time and date I was in the shop). I also decided to call the business to inform them of what happened and the fact that I'm not close to Richardson and couldn't return today, however; I do have all the evidence that's necessary to justify my claims. I was willing to wait until my next visit, no refund was necessary. I basically just wanted the company to acknowledge the quality of their work. The manager or/and receptionist didn't apologize and pretty much told me I had 24 hours from the time it happened to return to the shop. Well, it was 4:30pm, Im just leaving work, 1.5 hours away from Richardson and HWY 75 traffic is hell..NO WAY I could've made it there by the time the shop closes. So, there you have it a "brought lesson" BEWARE of eyelashes extensions at Henna salon in Richardson!! I asked if they had chemical free mehndi (henna), and handmade Henna and they said yes. However, they put store bought henna on me.. If its your first time - just know she is the one that sits on the chair closest to the cash register. I think I went to the smaller salon as it is on the northbound side of 75 & beltline/main street, in a small shopping center. They open at 1030am, however, I got there at 1015, there were already 4 people waiting in line and then 6 more came after me! I paid $6 for eyebrow and upper lip! I loved the price and the job, I'm used to paying twice as much! The lady that helped me was Ermie, I liked that she was fast with her technique, as I do not appreciate a slow technique, that hurts so much more... I will be back! read more
