Decided to try and give this store one more try even after previous poor service. I wanted to pop in to select colours to go with 2 Benjamin Moore colours I had chosen from magazine and friend recommendation. I needed several gallons and a bit of guidance with best product for a big project for me. (Grey Owl and Chantilly Lace) 1. Still no in store shopping. 2. Useless person answering the knock. 3. Instant frustration at the lack of hospitality and service. 4. One word answers and no help or offer of grabbing any kind of samples. 5. Told the next person in line that appointments could be booked. So I asked if I could book one. Simply said no, none available. 6. I got so frustrated with the lack of assistance, etc that I just said forget it and called Sherwin Williams on Clair rd Guelph where I was welcomed, helped, guided and supplied with my gallons of paint within 15 mins of arrival. They even helped me carry my load to the car. They matched the basic colours I was wanting to start with as well. We recently moved to Guelph and began a main floor and kitchen renovation of our house. Our painting contractor recommended that we go to Heers to pick paint colours and finishes. We found Neil and his staff to be very helpful and knowledgeable. Using our samples of flooring, cabinetry and countertops, they led us through the process of selecting wall and trim colours in the finishes that would best work for our project. The results are stunning! We have returned many times to Heers since our initial visit as our renovation project continues. We were renovating our kitchen and after choosing cabinet, countertop and tile colours, the next step was wall paint. From my first visit to Heer's I was met with very helpful consultants. They assisted me with finding colours that would match everything we had chosen and gave me great advice on options and colour schemes. It took me a while to decide and I ended up going with two custom colours that were matched perfectly by the sales people. Throughout the process, all of the consultants at the store were incredibly patient and very helpful. I will continue to get my paints from this store thanks to the time and attention that each of the consultants at this store gave me.
