Working with The Robert Half Creative Group gave me the opportunity to land my DREAM JOB at…read moreStarbucks Coffee Company. As I read through some of the other reviews, most were positive but some expressed sour grapes. I think there are some misaligned expectations as to what a staffing agency is. A staffing agency makes their money by supplying companies with workers either on a temporary are permanent basis. Unless you are paying a staffing agency a fee to find you employment, then the staffing agency's fiduciary responsibility is to the company that is paying them. You need to understand and accept this if you are going to work with a staffing agency. Here's how you benefit from the relationship... Staffing agencies can give you the opportunity/connection to network, learn, and build your resume with world-class business organizations that are extremely challenging to get your foot in the door. Once in though, it's up to YOU to prove yourself and work toward finding your dream job. You can't walk in and expect your dream job to be handed to you. Competition for good jobs in good markets is tough. You have to come at it by assessing the situation for fit, figuring out where YOU can add value in ways that align with your career objectives, get along with ALL the players (putting your ego in check), make a plan, STAY POSITIVE, and execute on it. Oh and by the way, all that work might NOT lead to a permanent job. Don't expect that, if you do you will fail at staying positive. However, know that all the work you are doing is being added to your resume. The way you are handling the situation is being noted by all those you are working with. They will remember you, refer you, and be a reference for you. If played right, over time you will land your dream job. TCG's role was they gave me the connection to make it happen, and supported me with training and advice on handling situations as they arose. That's it, that's all any staffing agency can realistically do for you. Here at the end of my experience with TCG, I can say they've actually EXCEEDED my expectations for a staffing agency. TCG offered me much more career building benefits than other staffing agencies. Benefits such as continued industry training, portfolio showings, attendance to top business industry conferences, team building and network events. This is the stuff that helps you develop your career path. Lastly, they've made my transition to full employment with Starbucks very, very easy. If you are looking to get networking opportunities or work experience added to your resume from renowned organizations and companies, TCG has the connections to make it happen.

Rude. For the whole experience you can see my video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lp1aOWrL8is…read moreThe actual "agent" doesn't tell you anything about their business and is very snarky, for lack of appropriate words. Office is old and smelly, small and very dirty. They also keep emailing me to come back in... So if my qualifications aren't up to their standards I wonder why I get at least an email a week. Also while sitting in the "office" I was told all the bad reviews online where due to people who lack talent... SCAM!!!!!! Ask anyone who actually handles talent... They will tell you to RUN!!!

Okay, I'm sure you've read all the previous reviews of how "good" or "bad" they are. Let me tell…read moreyou, they are all biased opinion from outsider's point of the view. However, I have experienced with globalone from inside, left, right, up, and down. So I think my "opinion" or review might help you the best for whatever business you may do with this company. first of all, they are not a scam-ers. They are actually legit, however, the way and the image they portray is FALSE. I'll give you specific details. 1) Once you get "signed" with them, they will pretty much FORCE, (i say force because they don't say "YOU HAVE TO" but pretty much they are implying that you do) you to get your head shots taken by their photographer (he is actually Sunny (CEO's) cousin!!!) Jaysen. It's funny because you may tell them, "I've got my head shots already by a different photographer" they will reject it by whatever reason they may give you. 2) Also, when I visited their office a weeks ago, I often heard sunny or whoever that was in charge yelling at their employees. Yes it might happen, but what my problem is that they imply "christian based company" yet they treat their employees like piece of poop. NOT COOL. 3) They tell you to follow their rules. Which I understand, however, if you "mess up" or somehow offend their "motto" you will be IMMEDIATELY cut off from the management. They say that, "You have to follow the rules." yet if your point or importance is to build relationship, how can you build relationship when someone makes a mistake and first thing you do is cut them off the list? 4) They have over 5-7 UNPAID interns, and...about 2-3 employees. So you tell me, isn't that little weird? 5) They say they have three different office locations, Seattle, LA, and Korea. Try searching their Korean Company in Google, Korean websites or whatever resources out there. You tell me 6)Yes Facebook, Twitter full of their people getting auditioned and all, but you are not seeing the people that are getting rejected, and their dreams being crushed for a stupid reason. 7) If you don't have money, you won't be able to push yourself up from GlobalOne. Why? Once you tell them, "I can't afford." Their answer isn't "Let us try to figure out and negotiate financial deals with you." It's more like "Oh....okay next time then!" Look, I already know someone from GlobalOne is going to reply by saying that I am wrong. Trust me. If you want to become famous follow your dreams... THIS IS NOT THE RIGHT MANAGEMENT FOR YOU, but if you are still willing, I say go ahead, you will go through what I went through.
