The entire team stayed on, which says a lot about Dr. Choi. The other day I went in for a scheduled filling. They found, after numbing my gum and a few quick races with their brand new little x-ray gun (which makes it incredibly easy by the way) that there were a few small cracks in the tooth, but actually no cavity. Since I have terrible insurance right now and couldn't really afford to pay for the service, Dr. Choi said "no problem. We can defer this and there will be no charge for today." it is so refreshing these days when so much in life is so transactional. He just wanted to make sure that I had to care that I needed and that I could afford. This is a five star review. Thank you, Dr. Choi and welcome to the dental practice!

They then reccomended a different, more intensive cleaning, which was not covered by insurance. When they told me how much it would cost, I declined that procedure. They then declined to provide the covered cleaning. So, I essentially paid $900 to have a dentist decline to clean my teeth. Very frustrating. I know they don't provide this level of service to everyone bit this was my unfortunate experience.

I understand that these are recommendations, however, when I went to another dentist, I was given a completely different treatment plan which makes me question the integrity of the clinic.

My first dental experience in the U.S. was at Avila Dental more than a decade ago. Although a long…read moretime has passed, every time I visit a dental office I am reminded of what happened there, so I decided to write this review now. The dentist, Dr. Bello, was professional, but my experience with the hygienist, Kelly, was extremely negative. At that time, I had just moved to the United States, did not speak English well, and naturally relied on my husband to communicate. Instead of showing understanding, Kelly made remarks suggesting that I was like a child depending on my husband. I found this deeply mocking and humiliating. During the cleaning, she smiled while inflicting pain on me, and it felt cruel and deliberate. As an Asian immigrant who couldn't speak English then, I felt that she treated me differently in a way she would not have treated other patients. That made the experience even more painful and isolating. I cannot confirm whether Kelly is still working there, but that experience left me with lasting trauma and a deep mistrust toward dental hygienists in America. In my opinion, no patient should ever be made to feel ridiculed or discriminated against because of language or cultural background.

She even called me the following morning to see if I was feeling alright. I was. I had no pain or bleeding problem. When they called me back, I had the X-rays and the check in. It took maybe 50 minutes. The dentist would come and go and what not. He the said he was sending a hygienist in to start the cleaning. I wanted 40 minutes for them to show up, check in on me, give me an update- something. No one did. I had to go to work because at this point, I had been there for 2 hours and haven't gotten the cleaning. I flagged someone down and told her I had to leave. She said I had to checkout. I stood for about 5 minutes (with no one helping me) so I left. I felt bad at first and called them, no answer - left voicemail. No return call. So oh well, I guess they don't care. I tried to make another appointment online- but it said I wasn't allowed. Maybe they banned me? I don't know- but moral of the story- go somewhere else.

However, both recruiters do not get back to you and I do bring a solid skill set to both of the positions. The first recruiter just would not get back to me. I called in to see if there is another recruiter I could work with. The manager called left me a voice message. I returned the call and left a voice message to top call me back to never hear back. I received a requirement last Friday. I have replied twice letting the recruiter know I am interested and would like to be considered for the position. I called in to the office today and the reception said the recruiter was on a call and she would call me back. I see some good reviews on this staff. unfortunately, I have not experienced the same.

They share an Office with Creative (which is run by Robert Half & Accountemps). So I interviewed all at once many months ago when I first moved into the city. Laura from Creative was nice enough to introduce me to Adriana from OfficeTeam. Like Laura, she was professional during the interview, seemed like she knew what she was doing. They talked a big game, sold what they could do well, but didn't actually do it. They never found me any part or full time work, whereas AppleOne quickly did. I barely ever heard from Adriana after that day. Dani from OfficeTeam did find me day to day stuff, but it was always last minute when they'd make you aware - such as a few days before or day of. So unless you sit around all day with an open schedule, the day to day work is very short notice. But I guess at least she tried to do something, so points there. If you ask them about their poor reviews online, or if they're reading this they might be thinking, "Oh it's because we couldn't find them work so they're just mad." But other agencies did find me work much faster, so I'm rating them based on what I experienced elsewhere. And it wasn't that this company got me some interviews, and this other company got me a couple more interviews and I landed a job. I'm talking a large discrepancy, so OfficeTeam was probably not trying very hard. So, the fact is that they didn't do their job near as effectively as other temp agencies. Also, they messed up on some of my paperwork, and I had to go to their office to fix it - they forgot to get the info on Green Card which could have been a big HR screwup. I couldn't fairly give them 1 star though. A major positive is that they're polite and easy to deal with on the phone. Some recruiters take a long time to reply to Emails, respond to timesheet software issues, or sound angry on the phone. Neither Laura or Adriana were ever moody on the phone and were always polite. They're fast when returning Voicemails and Emails, tend to still be in-office after 5pm. Same with Dani, but Dani would pressure really hard for the day to day jobs, she'd try to get a "yes" before even describing to me what the job entailed or the pay. She'd make a fantastic sales person, probably a big fan of the book "How To Get To Yes." (Edit: I gave them a below-average review on a survey they Emailed me. And someone from their office called me and told me what they could do better. I essentially told them that they probably could have tried harder, because other temp agencies did a better job. They said stuff similar to when I interviewed, that they'd find me this & that, and I never heard from them again which was what I assumed would happen. But at least they read their surveys, so you know at least there's some sort of effort given in this aspect.) Overall, I've probably spent more money on parking meeting them and filing paperwork at their Seattle office, than money made from work they've found me. If you're new to the city and randomly job searching, they're probably worth a quick shot to send your resume online to, but I wouldn't expect much effort on their part past the initial interview.
