This is my second time using them, I knew better. Its seems like kids are forced to do the online classes, which mine did, but now there are no in car lessons available. They are booked out 3 months and everything is during the day, kids are in school. I find it almost fraudulent that you are required to do the training per the state and you pay these driving schools yet the driving schools do not allow you to complete the requirement within a 6 month time frame. Kids should be able to get their license within a reasonable time, a fee is paid therefore the services should be offered and reasonable. Now I need to find another place for in car and pay again, the Heights was paid yet they are unable to fulfill the services paid for. read more

I would not recommend Heights Driving School. In December 2025, we purchased the school's upgraded package for $625 because it advertised benefits beyond the standard package, including two additional hours of in-car instruction, maneuverability training, and parent tips and tricks. The standard package at the time was $495, so we paid an additional $130 specifically for those extra services. Despite multiple emails and phone calls, we were never able to schedule those additional services. The online system would not allow scheduling, and the only alternative date offered was during the school day. The school issued my daughter's completion certificate without providing any of the additional services we paid for. When she struggled with maneuverability during her driving test, we had to seek instruction elsewhere from another driving school. After two short lessons from that other driving school, she successfully passed and received her license. When I requested a refund of the $130 premium we paid for services that were never delivered, Heights Driving School refused to issue a full refund. After several emails, although they acknowledged the extra services were not provided, they never explained why they believed they were entitled to keep money for services that were never delivered. My concern is less about the money and more about the principle. Consumers should not have to pay for services that are advertised, purchased, and never provided. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Heights Driving School. It is a pity because I had attend this driving school ages ago when I was a teen myself. read more

paid the $535 upfront my daughter took the first part online but when it was time to do the driving they don't have any openings until next year. so now she has to get the temps again because they will expire before next year. WOW!!! DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE! They NEVER have classes available. They REFUSE to give a REFUND when they can't schedule you. They have cancelled MULTIPLE classes on my kid. They DIDN'T SHOW UP to get her. They show up at the WRONG PLACE to pick her up. This was an ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE and I suggest you DO NOT use this place. The people in the office are extremely disorganized, and one of the girls is very rude, especially when you try to explain to her how she is wrong. They kept confusing me with my friend even though we both clearly give our names each time we call. They tried telling my friend she never took her 24 hours of class time because they were on my account when we are 2 different people. They confused us for each other more than once even when we gave our respective names and numbers. That was a headache. Then in the car I paid for 6 hours of instruction, but I decided to only use 4, as I didn't feel like I was learning much at all. My instructor Dawn was nice, but I feel like I regressed with her advice. When we practiced maneuverability, she told me my mirrors were positioned way off of what they should be. While the day before my first time in a car with her, I went through a maneuverability course 18 times without hitting a cone. Then when I began positioning my mirrors the way she suggested, I began hitting them again. After that, in the car, I canceled my last one. Took the driver's test last Thursday and passed the road test but failed maneuverability because I had my mirrors how she suggested. Went back yesterday, also a Thursday, and positioned my mirrors how I had them in the car when I practiced with her, and I passed maneuverability with a perfect score. If I could go back, I would not enroll in this driving school. Disorganized and chaotic mess. My friend didn't even do her in-car because she had such a hard time scheduling. Waste of our time and money. She took her test today and passed as well. The only reason this place gets 2 stars is because Dawn was pretty nice. Otherwise I'd suggest finding a different driving school. For the amount of money we paid it should have been a totally different experience. 1,080 dollars all together for us and I feel like we only used about 500 dollars worth of instruction because this company is so messed up. Forgot to mention how we had to call 2cool traffic school and then heights again because they never emailed a link to 2cool traffic school and then had to go back to the office a second time after we paid and signed because my friend was enrolled in the wrong course apparently. Then they tried to say she never signed the contract the second time even though we went IN PERSON. Chaotic mess. Save yourself! DELETING REVIEWS? Now you get one star none if I could! If you like corporate greed then this is the school for you!! They will take advantage and only when you complain to the ohio attorney general will they suddenly try to schedule behind the wheel lessons 3 months later. Just refund me! There has been multiple issues with this company. Starting with there communication. That is horrible when we tried schedule her in class. Then let's go to the in car my daughter tried to schedule it they told her they will contact her in 2/3 weeks. I paid 350 dollars for a service you provide. I had to call schedule driving classes for her nothing local. I had to take 20 miles just get her in car in. Then in car cancel once then tried cancel again cause it's raining. For the most part the school was okay. But on her last diving lesson.l, Joe Dixon was her instructor. It was 97 degrees and extremely humid. He wouldn't let her turn the AC on and she came home after two hours, beat red, jeans soaked with sweat, sick to her stomach with a headache from heat exhaustion. I called the school and all they did was call and tell him that was not ok. He should have been dismissed in the spot. This isn't his only bad review. read more

I was told along with about 12 others that there would be a class held today (Saturday) at the cleveland heights location at 8:30. That was not the case, we all waited for 1 hour and still no instructor showed up to start the class. I called off work for this class, I live 30 mins away and now I'm praying to God that my boss will find someone to cover my shift tomorrow so I can get this class done. LOTS OF TIME AND MONEY WASTED!!! UNPROSSIONAL. 24 hours of work I'm missing for this. read more

So....first of all thete are 17 people crammed in this room. I'm being treated badly for no reason. There are anti bacterial whipes in classroom I asked to use and I got yelled at for that. The teacher is verry disrespectful she told me to stop looking at her. I'm in the front row of the class i mean this is crazy. I ask her a question and she answeres it like I'm dumb or something. It smelled so bad in the classroom i found spray in bathroom and sprayed it and she screamed at me. This women shouldn't treat ppl like this ...i need to talk to a supervisor i feel she is just picking me out to mess with me. read more
