Today we stopped by McHappy's Bakery in Point Pleasant to buy donuts and other pastries!…read more The building is so Open New and Airy which is beautifully decorated! The donuts are so good! My grandkids were happy! I just love the cleanliness of the store and the counter lady was extremely nice & helpful. Definitely going back! Definitely recommend!

Below average donuts and very disappointing selection…read more Although the place itself is clean and appears brand new, I genuinely don't understand the appeal of it. The only reason I gave 3 stars was because the guy working there was very helpful. Other than that, it was a big waste of time, money and calories. Despite advertising certain donut flavors on their main page of the website, they don't actually sell them in the store. And not any kind of crazy specialty either, I'm taking chocolate cake and blueberry cake (literally featured on their website). We ended up only getting a few donuts because they had very limited options - but plenty of those options - meaning it wasn't a supply issue, just a choice not to make many flavors. We tried Boston cream, peanut butter chocolate, cinnamon roll, and blackberry. I barely took a bite of each and everyone said Dunkin Donuts was better - which is funny because we don't eat Dunkin's actual donuts because they aren't worth it either. I guess if you really want very fluffy, semi-flavorless donuts, this place is worth a shot, but if you want any kind of flavor or taste, as much as it pains me to say this, you should just stick with a chain.

Thinking to myself, what woman is gonna turn down Donuts??? My 2yr old grandbaby starts chanting Donuts Donuts with her Uncle...40 yr old Uncle We get to McHappys which is very easy to locate, thanks to the signage for directions. Its a cute little brown building with a very eye-pleasing Logo Sign. We go inside (tiny parking lot also) but they do offer a drive-thru! Calliope my 2yr old, her eyes get wide and glassy as her Uncle takes her closer to the showcase. The employee was super friendly! My immediate thought was, this room is bright cheery and smells like Bakery Heaven...I could live here!! I tell her we want 6 Donuts and Calliope chooses first a Cake Donut with Pink Strawberry Icing with Pink & White Sprinkles, I choose 2 Glazed and A chocolate Nut Icing Glazed for my Hubby and my son Chooses a Glaze and for his 2nd a Blueberry Cake Glazed Donut! I was tempted to get a few cookies, whooping Pies and Cupcakes because everything looked so yummy and festive! But I did choose a Canoli and a piece of Baklava! In total it was $19.02 and I left her a tip of $3 in her tip glass! I definitely recommend if you are in the Athens area to swing by. Its located beside Taco John's which we plan on trying next time we are in Athens, Ohio. Thanks for the Yummy Treats McHappys we definitely left very MCHAPPY!!!

The lady working had wonderful customer service. She was very helpful and cheerful when she found out we are new to this shop. We went home with half dozen, muffin and a canoli. She said everything is baked from their bakery and shipped to store. Their donuts are good, fluffy and moist.. all providing a mouth feel and not...dry and sad like a lot of places. My husband loved the canoli. I would highly recommend! Limited variety compared to some, but they are good with that they do have!

Tudor's Biscuit World - 10/2025 - My good ol girl- country ham with melted cheese. The picture doesn't do the biscuit size justice. Hubby said, "This is huge!"

Tudor's must have taken over another fast food restaurant. Same foot print. Older building. But it was fine as we were there for one thing- B I S C U I T S! Cute group of 10 or so senior men were having their coffee and breakfasts together at one big table. "The Board of Directors" were wearing their fave sports team. They were adorable! Nice sense of community. FOOD = I was on a mission- country ham with melted cheese biscuits. Haven't had one in 25 years! My husband HERD (IYKYK) so much about Tudor's, he followed my lead and order himself a bonus bacon, egg and cheese. He was surprised by the size, but happily ate both. He gave Tudor's a thumbs up! And I was all smiles, and with a skip in my step. Coffee and Coke hit the spot for the long day ahead. So happy we didn't have the complimentary breakfast at our hotel down the street. SERVICE = Ordered inside. 7am October on a Saturday. No line. (There's a drive-thru too.) Placed order. They gave us cups to serve ourselves. They give you a number for the table and someone runs your order out to you. Quick, hot food service. Maybe 5 minutes. Cashier was friendly and patient as we got familiar with the menu board at 7am. VALUE - Yes. 3 Breakfast sandwiches (meat, cheese and/or egg) 1 Coffee 1 Soda $20.00 for 2 people. Will we be back? If we lived in state, YES! Wish we had Tudor's in South Florida. However, my waistline is thankful we don't. Probably my fave fast food restaurant. Consistently good, fresh products. (Only negative, wish they didn't use styrofoam cups for hot beverages.
