But by the time I got there, I dreaded the trek back to the car. It's almost a labyrinth to navigate through. Overall, the service and staff have been 5-star caliber. But the building's layout and lack of wheelchairs for use inside really hamper the experience for someone who struggles to get around.

They give priority to deployed servicemen and everything was pretty much head of line privileges for those individuals. State of the art facilities...and since it is in Germany, most of the stuff you see in the states also come from Germany, so the stuff here in this medical center are some first rate high quality German made stuff, like the x-ray and MRI machines. Yah, I was bored and noticed where these were made. Decent sized dining facility, with a small food court and a mini-mart. Free transportation to Ramstein, though it is sparse.

I checked out other places but I came here for a couple of reasons: - I like that they were close to my village. An eight minute drive from Mackenbach to a Ramstein village is not bad. - I appreciate them accepting credit card. Side note: my personal preference as I don't feel like pulling cash out when I can just pay easily with my card - the prices weren't bad. I'm assuming they were pretty good deals The owner was super nice and friendly. Talked through the process for my eyebrows. And my results were very satisfactory! I'm pretty pleased with my newly done brows! I also attempted the lip permanent makeup and not going to lie - extremely painful even after numerous numbing but lips look good post procedure. They were again easy to work with and I was able to bring in a VAT form and everything was just good. I seriously cannot complain. We are extremely lucky to have found Dr Keesee from Dr Doryumu and friends…read more Our experience with the Kaiserslautern office and Dr Keesee was incredibly pleasant, informative, and accommodating. We truly can't recommend this team strongly enough. After scouring the internet for a pediatric dentist in the KMC we found a few great reviews for Dr Doryumu. From our first contact with the office we felt we made a great choice. The front office was extremely accommodating to our military family with no German language skills. A simple phone call to find the Landstuhl office was booked, but they put us through to the K-Town office and we had our appointment and a friendly reminder call. Stressed about out baby's first appointment, when we arrived we were greeted warmly and took care of all new patient paperwork with some greatly appreciated assistance from the staff. The Hygienist who assisted us was amazing. Warm and accommodating she was a pro at keeping our little one in high spirits. Dr Keesee was absolutely amazing. He started with a conversation about basics and hygiene for our one year old, explained what he would look for, and allowed us to ask any questions. Patient, insightful, and responsive to our amateur google-parenting questions. His genuine thoughtfulness was obvious, and he clearly wanted us to walk away as informed parents who could foster good habits. His exam of our one-year old with eight teeth was treated with the professionalism of a caring pro. He was patient when our boy wanted to look at/steal the mirror, and balanced our baby's focus with the help of simple but extremely thoughtful distractions. He knew we were unsure of what to ask and offered a few points for our benefit. He gave us time after the exam to allow our questions to find us. From teething, diet, brushing, toothpastes, water and fluoride, he answered all of our questions throughly and made sure we weren't just nodding north-south. When we asked about breastfeeding, night feeding, and potential effects on developing teeth Dr Keesee happily explained the layman's science. When we were tough customers and asked about a very specific diet and breastfeeding concern he offered without hesitation to contact a colleague who specializes in breastfeeding and pediatric medicine to round out his advice. Dr Keesee clearly wanted to make sure we could balance realistic and informed dietary and dental decisions knowing the benefits and potential concerns of both. Dr Keesee and his team did all this knowing that we would not be in Germany long enough to see them again. Seriously, who cares that much!!?? We truly can't thank them enough for such a great first dentist experience. They've undoubtedly set the bar extremely high. After this experience we will likely be the parents who tell our stateside friends everything is better in Germany, even the dentist!
