They have great food! The burgers are awesome! Great hole in the wall! Their prices are fair too.

Yowser! Has it been SIX YEARS since I reviewed 'my' Ingles?…read moreWOW! So much has changed! Sunday wine! Bigger facilities! Cheaper fuel, now. Enclosed freezer/fridge compartments, now. DVD rental area, gone! I drive past FIVE grocery stores to visit 'my' Ingles, now. I've tried the others, well except for the Walmart Mega-grocery, that smells funny and requires a GPS to navigate; and somehow they're all lacking something. Consistently clean, easy to enter and exit, and with competitively priced items, I'm a fan of 'my' Ingles. The parking lot is always clean. The staff is always friendly, even during those early Sunday morning visits (my fav time to shop). When I had a severe gout flare-up, they INSISTED that they help me load my items in the White Mule. They even returned that electric cart thing inside for me. Face it, unless you shop at the local Gas 'n Go, all grocery prices are basically the same. It's the little things that make the difference, that keep you returning, week after week. The freezer glass being super clean. The produce fresh and stacked. Clean isles. Easy to push carts! Friendly employees! I use a custom printed grocery list, with each item listed 'in order' found as I walk through the store. It saves time, and helps avoid random purchases that screw-up the budget. And it allows two weeks worth of items to be purchased in 22 minutes! This works very well until I need a seldom purchased item. For instance: Last week, I couldn't find an off-list item. Looked all over; no luck. One of the BUTCHER fellows saw me, and personally escorted me to the item. I mentioned it wasn't a meat item, but he responded, "Doesn't matter, Sir.....It's in 'my' store." That's one of the reasons it's 'MY' store, as well!

The store itself is nice however i attempted to use the restroom while I was there picking things…read moreup. And when I went to the restroom, there was another man in the stall doing some type of drug and when I walked in and tried to use the restroom next to him, he told me to get the F out and some other profanities, so I just said OK this is not my environment and left

Being new to the area, I wouldn't have found Ingles Market had they not been on a "store locator"…read morefor a product I was trying to find that no other stores in the Knoxville area carry. The employees are really helpful, and their attitudes seem to portray that they're happy in their jobs. With Ingles being among a dying breed of non-corporate grocery store chains, and family owned, that appears to be key to happier, and helpful staff. The store is well organized and clean. The layout is logical and things are easy to find. Ingles offers everything you need in a grocery store and purchases help a USA company that is family owned.

Oh Ingles (sorry, ingles) Market #307, how dearly you came through for me!…read more I won't get into my reasons, but I was in dire need of dry ice. But where on Earth do you buy dry ice? A quick internet search led me to some pretty technical sounding places, all of whom quoted exorbitant prices and made it sound like I would need to build a chemistry set to purchase and transport it. Since Mr Wizard wasn't available to translate on such short notice, I knew I needed to talk to someone without a PhD in cryogenics. Enter Ingles (sorry, ingles) Market #307. I walked in. A kid who could not have been a day over 16 and walked me down the freezer aisle, pulled down a styrofoam cooler, reached into a deep freezer and grabbed a chunk of the stuff. He didn't say a word the entire time. My total? $5.75. My day? Saved.
