The local health food market is a quite majestic building; it's not far from the old downtown area…read more These characteristics are atypical of such stores (of which I have patronized many), which are usually in the sticks. I did find the prices high, if not unexpectedly so in most cases. I did find strange variation in sale items; some were substantial discounts, while in another case I saw a roughly $8 item "on sale" for twenty cents off, which seems bordering on a sort of unethical deception. The selection of produce was not huge but looked nice; this being Knoxville they had more meat than plants it seemed. Various natural and organic brands popped up. I always try to support the local businesses and I got a few things. This does seem to have a co-op structure so locals who really want to be in regularly might consider buying in.

Huge fan of this Happy Holler staple. Has such a wide variety of vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free,…read moredairy-free, and straight from the local farm/vendor goods. The best part, the price is pretty competitive with grocery stores in the area. There is a hot/cold bar to grab lunch and sit in the indoor dining area or outside on their shaded patio. They also have a huge variety of grab-and-go pastas, wraps, salads, and sandwiches and a coffee bar with all the fixin's. The above is all awesome, but I head in here for the bulk items. Have a small amount of a rarely-used spice needed for a recipe? CHECK. Want to grind some fresh almond butter or coffee? GOTCHA COVERED. Dried fruits? YUP! (dried papaya are my family fave). Variety of healthy granolas, grains, and baking items in bulk, too. There is easy parking with their own little lot, friendly service, a discount membership program ($25 per year), and a punch card discount when you use reusable bags. Can't wait to come back.

We just went to a Mexican place and came to this Walmart. Right when we first walked in they were staring and talking about my husband. We both aren't ones to bring in race about anything, that's just not how we are, but in this situation it's obvious that had an issue with him being black. Well I checked out and went out to the car and was waiting on my husband and my son. My husband was getting beer. So this lady with long blonde hair declined his sale because she claims she could smell beer. Remind you we just ate at a Mexican place. We both ordered waters. He was buying beer to drink. He wasn't even acting drunk or anything to make her say that. She said she could smell it. So when he came out to the car, he said we gotta go somewhere else to get the beer. I said why? He said the lady in there claims she can smell beer on me. I said what the fuck? Those were my exact words. I was pissed. I went back in there and said excuse me where is the case of beer my husband was going to buy that you declined him. She said yeah I declined because I can smell it. I said yeah that's the problem he hasn't even been drinking . And ON TOP OF THAT, I WOULDNT FREAKING LET HIM WALK AROUND WITH MY 3 MONTH OLD CHILD IF YOU WAS "DRINKING" ALREADY. She said well I can decline your sale too. I said why. Because you know you are wrong and I'm just telling you.. she didn't say anything I said exactly . It's all because he's black and you guys act like you haven't ever saw a black person and acting like he doesn't belong in there... WELL GUESS WHAT...... this is America bitch... he can be anywhere and everywhere! DONT GO HERE.... they need to teach there employees about discrimination.

They clearly have regulars, as you'd think they have their own personal fan club. People joking and speaking with them, addressed by name. I love environments like this! Make a point of telling these hard-working staff how appreciated they are! It makes a huge difference in the experience. Reasons for star reduction? No curbside option like the Bearden location, deep potholes making turned over carts blocking spots in the lot, and often picked over/out-of-stock items that I can find quickly at other locations. As for the must-try items at Aldi? We love: -100% whole wheat bread -mini rasisin bagels -Hawaiian rolls -Apple Streusel bread (holy YUM!) -Chocolate Chip brioche loaf (great for french toast) -zucchini/squash -peppers -bags of apples -Parm couscous -salmon (much fresher than grocery or big box stores) -family chicken breasts -deli ham (comes in 2 sealed packs, so lasts longer) -hummus -cheeses! goat, unique cheddars, fondue, string -french onion dip (like the yummy old Dean's variety that has been altered in recent years) -Dairy staples-milk, almond milk, plain greek yogurt (in place of sour cream for us), half-and-half -Parm crisps -Garlic Herb Goat Cheese Risotto (Fall seasonal) -Asiago Cheddar crisps(Winter seasonal and amazing) -Nuts (cashews are yummy and a great deal here!)

I have been a lotal customer since 1989. It seems that the decline accelerated post covid. The final straw occured today (Jun 13, 2026). My $300 order included a fair amount of perishables. My order was too large to use self-checkout. So I got in line with the only one that had a cashier. The line went up an aisle. Overall I was in line for 15 minutes. When, a second cashier opened the people in the back of the line got in the new line. The cashier should have come over and selected the next people in line. I went to the office to complain but the manager never showed up. Goodby Krogers hello Food City.

They based the cost on an old prescription for the same medicine which is due to expire. I had a coupon for 90 tablets (3 times more tablets than I received) that would have cost $46. Because the pharmacy did not fill the new prescription, I received fewer tablets at double the cost of what I would have paid if they had used the new prescription instead of the old one. Not only did I not get the correct amount of tablets, I also paid twice the amount I should have paid. They would not take the pills back and correct their mistake because I did not see that they had messed up until after I left the prescription pick-up counter. Furious!
