I was eventually asked to return for another swab only after I pushed for further evaluation. I ultimately sought care from another physician, who provided the necessary medication. The other problem I had is that the ultrasound technician took my weight yesterday before I went into the room for my blood pressure and everything. Great, fine, whatever. But I get into the room and am met by a nurse who needs to weigh me. I said, "I just did that, do I need to do it again?" and she asked, "Oh.. do you remember what it was?" On top of that, 3 people asked if I skip periods: the ultrasound technician, the nurse and the doctor. I answered the same way each time. Seriously, they all carry laptops and are typing while you answer questions and between the two instances, I was left wondering "does NO ONE write anything down????" Just seems very disorganized and I feel like there should be a better system when it comes to passing along information, both from nurse to nurse/doctor and from nurse/doctor to patient. Every single time I came in they had the wrong contact information, I would correct it, and it would revert back to an address I hadn't lived at for years, turns out that's where my confidential test results and bills were sent too.
